In summary

Buffalo Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors appreciate the amenities such as the driving range and complimentary coffee, and the course's condition is often highlighted as superb, even after adverse weather. However, some guests have noted issues with the golf carts, including the lack of GPS and the need for cart path repairs, as well as occasional slow pace of play.

Beautiful design course that is coming out of the winter but was still an enjoyable game. Only problem was I didn't like the carts and the restrictions on the carts. It was a little bit of a pain in the rear.

I played this course on 9/22/25, and was completely blown away by , not only the course, but also the staff. When I walked into the Pro Shop, I was greeted warmly by several staff members. I was made to feel as though I was a regular customer of theirs. The course was superb! The was plenty of well-manicured grass, and the fairway bunkers were well maintained. Despite the greens having been recently top-dressed, they were very playable and rolled smoothly. My only regret is that my game wasn't "up to par," but that can be fixed. My first impression will never change though, and I promise to re…

Great golf course! Staff fantastic - Mark, Brian, Lisa, Chris, etc. & all the starters! Cart girls can always be found! Still need bathroom on the front nine. Improvements continue with new coming pitching, putting practice area. Stay away you Dallas folks - you're eating up our tee times!

Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly! They make a great breakfast burrito! Also, they have a free coffee bar which is a nice touch. Plenty of space at the driving range. They have an indoor space for eating or group outings. They do have some tough holes- so bring your A game!

I went out as part of a foursome on a Thursday morning. It had been over a decade since I last visited Buffalo Creek. The course was in good shape tee to green. The price was reasonable and the customer service from clubhouse, starter and on course beverage attendant was excellent! The pace of play was good as well. Our foursome completed our round in no more tuan 4 hours. Overall everyone in the group had a good time and look forward to returning. If I had to find something negative it might be several areas of the cart paths were in need of TLC due to broken pavement however this didn't impa…

Why five stars? If you have been paying attention to the transformation of this golf course it would be easy to understand. From late June to late August and into September their staff has worked tirelessly to improve the greens. With outstanding results. All while maintaining and improving a world class public golf course.

Course is having some challenges with fairways and greens. I called and complained. David (the gm) was very apologetic and explained the complications they were having. He addressed my concerns and although it may take some time for course to be in tip top shape, I have no doubt they will do it.

Really enjoyed this course , they keep the bunkers in really good shape & the course is also in good shape especially for this time of year , the greens roll pure & the course is quite challenging , be ready to hit out of a bunker cuz you’ll end up in one . I rate the course a 9/10

It's a nice and challenging course. It's been in great shape all of the time now. greens are rolling fast. Staff is friendly and accommodating! It's a must play!! Beware of hole #6 is the hardest hole on the course. A bogey is like a par. And the greens have looked consistent all year or for the past few years.

Good track! Challenging layout that makes you think about how to attack the hole. 611-yard par 5 is brutal!! April freeze hit them pretty hard with some winter kill.

Love Buffalo Creek! You do pay a little more than some other public courses, but the value is for sure there. The course is always in really great shape, you get a small bag of range balls and the free coffee is always a welcomed perk. I live out in Richardson and Buffalo creek is still our go to when looking for tee times. Highly recommend!
