The club offers three distinct courses, each with unique features that cater to different skill levels, and many visitors enjoy the scenic setting and well-maintained greens. We held a 40-man 'Ryder Cup' style event here with half the players from outside Texas and half from the area but never played Bridges. We all had a great time and the Bridges course was very challenging but a lot of fun to play. We did play all three 9s and Champions and Masters were much more enjoyable than Traditions. The Traditions 9 was fun but it's 3rd in my opinion. I was able to set up all my tee times and food ahead of time with the course and they made things really easy for me from outside the area. We came and did a practice round before our event and the staff on that day and the…

Great every day courses! Tee boxes were good, greens were good, carts are perfect- they have a GPS in each one that advises the distance to the hole. Restrooms on the old course were very nice, clean!! There’s a little restaurant, drinks, soda, water, you can get ice! They have someone who comes out who you can buy drinks from. Great inexpensive course to play! Some of the greens aren’t pristine, however, it’s a great course, beautiful trees, water areas for wildlife, and a great walk if you don’t get the cart!!! Go, & just have fun!!!!

A sprawling public golf complex with three courses set amid rolling terrain and scenic water features that can delight casual and seasoned golfers alike. Many praise its challenging layouts and value play, though some report uneven conditions, slow pace, and maintenance issues on certain courses. Great for a laid‑back round or weekend golf outing when greens are in good shape.

Had a ok time. Got check in for tee time fine. Started playing my round. Had a young man in front of me walking. No big deal, by hole 7 on lake side I had caught the young man who was having to wait for two groups in front of us. the two groups was playing so slow, that pace of played slowed way down. There was no Marshall helping to keep pace of play moving. On the back nine around hole 15. Had a group skip us and join the group that was playing slow. Went from 4 guys to 8. Took a hour to play last three holes. Pretty much played last hole in the dark. Course was nice, staff was nice. Just n…

Prices aren’t bad and course is good for what you pay. However, Carts in by 8pm makes no sense when sunset is 8:45. I was told it was because of “city rules”, I’ve played courses around here and this course many times without this “rule”. Then forcing 3 messages to my cart with a petty tone when we were finishing hole 16 at 8:03 was ridiculous. There was more than enough light to finish 18(picture included of leaving parking lot). Luckily it’s a cheap round but if people paid a typical price it would feel like a rip off. Have played afternoons here a ton but will not be if that is the new stan…

I was quite excited to play at Firewheel Golf Park, however I didn't have the experience I had hoped for. The course was in poor condition; putting was difficult due to the hard, uneven, and spotty greens. Play was disrupted by exposed sprinkler work and construction equipment, and several fairways were completely destroyed. The lack of communication made it worse. I made my reservation well in advance, and nobody informed me of the significant repair that was taking place. I anticipated a well-maintained course, not one that felt unfinished, for the amount I paid. Additionally, it was cart…

Came here for an entech tournament with my dad. It's good to be home I grew up on this course back in highschool this was my home course. The other course off of brand can learn a thing or two about hospitatly from the older course. Watch how you speak to me and treat me. I won't be so kind and long-suffering next time

I play here most of the time during the weekdays. The price is really fair for veteran people. The course is also fun to play. Sometimes I had to walk the course because of the grass condition, but it made sense.

At Firewheel golf course today in Garland. For those that are not familiar with it there’s actually three courses, the old course, the lakes course, and the Bridges. The old course has more houses on it and it’s a little bit more wide-open, the lakes course hence the name there’s lots and lots of water, the bridges is on the backside of these two it’s a little bit more expensive but it’s a very nice course. the bunkers were in good shape the sand was fluffy the fairways can be wide but also can be very narrow the greens are in really good shape the first cut of rough is deep and tough if you ge…
