In summary

Woodbridge Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways, challenging layout, and excellent restaurant, which many find to be a highlight of their visit. The staff is often praised for being friendly and professional, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some golfers express concerns about slow pace of play and the club's policy of pairing groups with strangers, which can detract from the overall experience. Additionally, there are mixed reviews regarding the condition of the greens and tee boxes.

I have played golf at Woodbridge Golf Course for over 20 years, and the course itself is well designed and generally well maintained. That part has always been a positive. Unfortunately, there is one ongoing practice that has made my friends and me hesitant to return. Even when surrounding tee times consist of one or two players, our group of three is frequently forced to accept a fourth player we do not know. This happens repeatedly and feels unnecessary. It raises a simple question: why must our group always be made full, while others are not? For many Asian golfers, this is particularly…

We are a group of seniors that play here regularly. Today the temperature was too cold for us to play. I called before 8am to cancel and was then charged a no show fee of over $200. My opinion is that this is no different than if it had rained. Gabriel, the manager, told me he had to do what is best for the business. I told him we would no longer play there and that would cost him about $10k a year. Which is better- absorbing the $200 or losing $10k in annual revenue? BTW- they sent out emails offering free lunch and beer if you booked selected tee times for today. Obviously they had plenty of…

Edited December 2024: We played again and had a much better experience. I wanted to edit to reflect this. WE used to love Woodbridge. There was a long period of time though where it felt like everything was going downhill including the restaurant. At this time, no one picks up when you call the golf course but the people are wonderful when you go in. The restrooms on the course still are for emergency use only LOL. Sometimes they are locked and sometimes they are not. Make sure to get the code before you leave. People do come to Woodbridge from all over to play. Sometimes the greens are goo…

I've played this course 10-12 times over the past two years. Generally a good value. It's a challenge without being crazy long. The greens are the worst in DFW. Really wish I could see improvement in this area. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the course. Great food and always good service.

I'm not what you would call a regular golfer, but I have golfed more than 200 times in my life, at different courses and in several countries, and I do have my own nice set of clubs. This place is professionally run, and the service from everyone was excellent, and they didn't even mind me being a joker at times. The greens and the Fairways are fair, and the food in the restaurant? Very very good. The brisket sandwich was on point, the pizza was freshly fired. You really can't go wrong. If you read someone complaining about this place, it's probably because they complain about everything. R…

3hr 13 min to play 10 holes. We stopped after 10 holes. 3 groups on every tee box. No starter or on course Marshalls to speed up slow play. Tee boxes grass need to be cut lower. Felt like hitting from the rough on every tee box. How can you putt when greens are covered in poa annua??? And the restaurant, I heard so many great things about the place but the food was under cooked and tasted like SALT. I do not recommend this place to play golf or eat.

Played today. Pace of play is worst ever. 5.5 hour round. After playing 9 holes that took 2 hours and 50 minutes, we tried getting a rain check (didn’t ask for money) to come another day since it was obvious it was a bad pace day. Chris at front didn’t offer any customer service whatsoever and offered us nothing other than to play the front again. We tried it and another hold up on hole 5 on. Worst round ever. Do NOT play this course if you want a 4-4.5 hour round. We will not be coming back ever.

Good food, good service, clean dining area. If you are a local and especially live in the Woodbridge Neighborhood and become a member. The member special of 50 percent off of food and wine. The value is great. I wish they offered the kids club service throughout the week not just Thurs thru Sunday. They've been bringing in some specials. The shrimp and grits are awesome. ***One thing I keep hearing people requesting is they try to keep the red wine served at the proper temperature. In most cases it's always warm as it's been sitting next to a refrigerator.

4 hour round in 13 holes. After driving through the rest of the groups I realized it wasn't the players it was the course selling tee time to close. If you have 8min tee times with a booked tee sheet you will get a 6 hour round there. I will not be back. Course is OK though.

This is a quality municipal course. The fairways are green and in good condition, the greens are well maintained, there is a large practice area (driving range, putting green, practice bunker and chipping/pitching green). The clubhouse is very nice and the bar has a nice selection of beer on tap. The course has plenty of hazards (sand and water) to keep most golfers honest. If you keep it in play, you score well. However, the tree-lined fairways do punish wayward shots.

Decent but could improve. Pro-shop Staff were friendly. Course is scenic. Pace was on point! However, the Tee boxes were hard and couldn’t put the tee in. Very little grass on them (Par 3) so was not very comfortable to take divots for the fear of hurting my hand. Greens in the back nice were not in a good condition with dried up spots (see pic). Restaurant staff were very friendly. I ordered chick tenders and fries. they were very tasty.
