Tough course with hills/undulations and in good shape considering the massive traffic. Overall good challenge. Sand traps are brutal since muni players don't care to rake after themselves, and some of the bunker faces had some work done that left difficult situations... Pace of play on 5/15 was really bad. 5.5 hours. Saw a staff member a few times but he didn't seem concerned.

Wonderful time here. Best “city” course I’ve played that I can remember. Greens are nice. Fairways nice. Challenging. View from tee box on hole 9 is lovely. Also turkey sightings

12-31-25 last day 2025 and played Cedar. WOW! The course is in great shape and the greens are fabulous and lightning fast. Enjoyed it tremendously!

Cedar Creek was a great course to play while we were visiting San Antonio. It’s tucked in among hills and beautiful homes, there’s a lot of sloping fairways, elevated tees, blind dog legs it was wonderful. Challenging yet a blast to play. Would definitely recommend and play again if back this way.

The course overall has held up great since the renovations. There’s a couple spots on the course that are super soggy and muddy, specifically the green side rough on hole 3. Plush grass but super wet, maybe a broken water valve. Also, the sprinklers on hole 12 green came on right as we were coming up to it. This was maybe 3pm so not sure why this happened. And on hole 13 there was trash everywhere. Not sure if this was a golfer’s doing or maintenance crew skipping over it, but thought it could be noted. Greens were burned thin in a couple spots but rolled pretty good for this time of year. Fai…

May 30 2026 not bad day of golf. For these guys bragging that this is the prestige course in San Antonio the greens are not in good shape. A lot of areas that are almost no grass. Other than that no a bad day. April 15 2026 Another great outing for Cedar Creek. Little rain a little wind. Place looked great. Feb 4th 2026 course was on great condition for February. Greens were amazing loved playing it today. Oct 18th course is hard if you cant play half decent avoid. Course was in great shape greens really fast. August 16th rained all night but was open and no rain while playing. Half way th…

Played here for a bachelor trip weekend and this one was of the courses I wanted to come. Safe to say that I definitely won’t be coming back… Staff treated us terribly, we were getting bickered at for “slowing” pace down, but there was absolutely nobody behind us. We were a group of six and we paid for TWO back to back tee times just so we wouldn’t hold up anybody. At first we asked what was the reason why we couldn’t play six and the Marshall said that the rules say we cannot have six people on the green. Ok so we did that, then they came back and complained to us saying that we’re now holdin…

This course was better than I anticipated. Most well kept course I’ve been to in San Antonio so far. Staff was nice and it was overall just a good golf experience.

The pace of play was great, because we were the first group out. We played in 2 hours and 25 minutes. The course conditions were decent, but due to the winter, the grass was thin in places. The greens were in good shape.

Cedar Creek was in great shape after recent rainfall. Greens were consistent, not overly fast, but consistent. Staff was amazing. Steve in the Pro Shop was very welcoming and pleasant. Larry was the starter for the day, I enjoyed my conversation prior to teeing up. Danielle on the beverage cart did an excellent job as I saw her 3 times in the first 12 holes. Played in under 4 hours despite having to wait behind other groups. Even saw some gobblers and a few hawks out. Today was a good day to be at Cedar!

Course is in really good shape considering it is Feb. Four or even five stars would have been a no brainer except they paired our threesome with a fourth. The fourth had recent surgery and walking was an issue for him. He was struggling. Would not have been an issue except they forced us to go in two carts. The guy could barely walk and hit ball about 100 yards on a good shot. The time it took to play 18 holes on a Tuesday was not reasonable. Turned into a really frustrating day, which could have been much easier if we were in three carts.

The course is in great shape, the staff is helpful to a point. If you leave anything of value in the golf cart, call and confirm it was placed in lost and found and return a few days later to collect it. There is a good chance it won't be there for you to collect it as they will tell you it's nowhere to be found even though it was confirmed by the staff to be placed in lost and found. I'd give them 5 stars if I didn't experience this.
