In summary

Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained courses, friendly staff, and appealing setting, making it a pleasant venue for both golf and events. However, some members and visitors express concerns over high costs, crowded conditions, and management practices, which they feel detract from the overall value and experience. Additionally, certain amenities, such as the gym and locker rooms, have been noted as needing improvement.

Everything is a money grab. Charging members $38 dollars each to ride in the same golf cart. $10 dollars for a slim can of beer. Members being charged more than guests for golf tournaments. Everything is extra. Want to use the gym? Cool, half the equipment is an upcharge. Over $1100 a month for full golf membership but still not enough. End up paying more every time I set foot on the property. Parking is awful. Tee times are full every day. Can’t even enjoy a round with a family member without having your tee time immediately invaded by other people. The service in the restaurant is absolutel…

My daughter competed in a school golf tournament here, and while the course itself is fine, the experience for spectators was extremely disappointing. This course is over an hour away, and families do not have a choice in which courses school teams are assigned to play. Knowing that, spectators were required to pay $100 plus tax per golf cart just to follow a school event — a price that was higher than the cost to play the full 18-hole course. What makes this especially frustrating is that the carts themselves were basic: no GPS/monitor tracking, no radio, no Bluetooth speaker, and no added…

They claim to be a private golf club but it's definitely run like a public course. The only distinction between them and a public course is that they sell memberships. They'll sell as many memberships as they can. I asked the guys in the pro shop how many memberships have been sold and they said almost a thousand. Add wives and family to that and who knows how many golfers they have. I paid 7,500 for an initiation fee, its now 10k and dues are 1K a month for golf and a few hundred more for racket and social. Racket and social are decent but golf is a mess. I had a tee time yesterday at 3:09 an…

Women's locker room leaves much to be desired. It's a stupid little dark hovel that has the most horrible chairs that you can barely move. The air conditioner goes out all the time. The bathrooms have not been refurnished in many, many years. The ice maker is never filled with ice. There's no drinks. There's no way to order food. It's just a ridiculous little place. You cannot seriously call this a country club!!

Great day of golf yesterday as a guest. All of the staff were extremely friendly and anticipated what we needed from the bag drop to the end of the round. Nice warm up area, driving range with balls supplied. We played the Blackjack course and it was quite a challenge but there were 5 tee options. So, because I'm a relative beginner in my 60's, I played from the front tees to better enjoy the experience. The first several holes through the live oak trees were more enjoyable to play the back holes that play in open areas with few trees or shade. It was pretty hot and cart path only so it would…

I love this place, but I honestly think it's time to put a cap on new members. Starting to get way too crowded. And the gym they just "upgraded" is pretty disappointing. Golf courses are in great condition. Food is always good. Live music Fridays in the summer are great.

I came in few months ago for a visit to the club and dealt with Rhett. I loved the club and all employees we came across while touring the club. Rhett was amazing during our discussions about the club membership. He answered all my questions and was super prompt in responding. I would have signed up the day I came in to tour the club but I wanted my hubby to come and visit too so we picked another day for him to visit. We loved all their kids offerings and programs too!

We visited this location for a venue. The venue was a wedding reception held at Fair Oaks CC. The venue was from 6 pm - 10 pm. We arrived on time and there was ample parking, and it was easy to park. Given that the parking for the club and golfers is shared, it helped that the venue was after the golf day had been completed. I will note that for those not familiar with the property (I'm in this group). It may be hard to find the front door to the club / dining area. As you face the club from the parking lot, the entrance is around the left-hand side behind the driving range & pool - it's co…
