In summary

Champions Run Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained fairways, and greens, as well as its scenic and quiet setting away from town. The course is undergoing renovations, which have generally improved conditions, though some visitors have experienced issues with temporary construction disruptions and scheduling errors. While the course offers good value, some players have noted occasional slow pace of play and higher pricing during peak times.

Good and fun course 30min outside of Murfreesboro. Course is getting upgrades and renovations but fairways and greens are in good shape. Driving range is nice, not too large but plenty of room for a quick small bucket before your round. Clubhouse was really nice and staff was super friendly. Id give it an 8/10, some bunkers but not many. Water hazards are more frequent, some drainage issues where my ball landed in temporary water. Turning private 1/2026 so okay it while you can as a public course.

We had a terrible experience with champions run. My group booked an event for 20 golfers a month and a half in advance. They provided us a specific tee time, but when we showed up, they had no record of our reservation. They were not able to do anything to fix the situation. Several members from our party had driven as much as two hours. It was a shame of a situation. I thought this picture of the entrance was a fitting resemblance for our experience.

Lived in Christiana for about 3 years and forgot the course was here. It's a few more minutes away than IH but I like CR better due to the openness and not in town and nice and quiet.

This is my favorite local course! However, I would avoid it at this moment as they are about to do a huge overhaul on the greens and fairways. They will be closed until August of this year. Can't wait to get back when the course is in playable shape again! Clubhouse employees are always polite. See you all again soon. Edit: 9/20/23 - the work the staff put in on this course is super impressive. Big thank you to all the people that had a hand. This course is playing great! Get there before the cold sets in and play a round. Say hey to ol Ray at the shop if he is there. See you all soon

We didn’t play today but the greens looked good. We ate at Gentry’s Grill, watched football. The service and food was great. Everyone was extremely polite.

Great course, definitely recommend and incredible value for the price - greens and fairways were in really good shape and tee boxes were decent. Played from out of town with a friend and this was the only place we could get a tee time. Saw some reviews from the past few weeks claiming the course was in awful shape so we were a little nervous showing up. But wow this course was in incredible shape and for $67 to ride it was well worth the money!! Golf carts had range finders built in and everyone was very friendly. Definitely recommend!

As a local business owner there are times when we don’t meet a customers expectation. However, what we do in those moments and how we respond will always define who we are as a company. Unfortunately Champions Run failed at this recently on August 23rd. Rewind almost two months prior when a reservation was made and a tee time given to a group of 20 business professionals in the Murfreesboro area to meet and enjoy a day of golf at a course that use to care about its customers. When the group showed up to tee off at the given time on August 23rd there was apparently no record of such tee time. W…

Best practice area in greater Murfreesboro area. Pace of play is usually an issue. Too many beginner golfers who are not made aware of pace of play as they commence their golfing journey. Fortunately, it's going private, so it should weed out some of the slow play. Unfortunately, it's going private. Course conditions are generally good, but there is also still a lot of unattractive construction residue around, ie piles of dirt/soil, new sod.

Course is undergoing renovations in places, but that didn't stop us from having a very enjoyable time. Enjoyed the spacious fairways and true rolling greens. It's a pretty flat course, some water now and again, but ultimately, a great place to hone your golf swing. If it were not going private in 2026, I would play it again when I return to TN. Thanks Champions Run for a great day.

Golf course has recently undergone some major work, hole re-configuration, aeration last week, clubhouse mods, etc. It is going private next year. Last played 6-7 years ago. Noticed improvements, however seemed a bit pricy, $80 rate for a Friday morning. Senior rate not offered.

GREAT RAMGE, great fairways and tee boxes. Ground is actually soft enough to make a divot 👌

This course is in the worst condition I have ever seen. $37 for nine holes and a cart during the week and it is total garbage. The other courses in the area are kept in much better condition and are notably cheaper. I’ll never go back.
