In General Old Fort Golf Course is a long, forgiving bomber's dream just southeast of Nashville, stretching to 6,980 yards from the back tees with a nasty slope rating of 73.3/139 that demands respect. Reasonably priced large city course. Well maintained and in overall great shape. Good practice area and decent clubhouse with to-go style food. Plenty of water and bathrooms on the course. Greens roll true but they are “thick” and do not make a ball mark. Never pulled out my repair tool the whole round. It’s straightforward and a fun mid range course.

Beautiful golf course, they are remodeling too, expecting late fall 2024, I am excited to see how it turn out. Cost of driving range is getting higher, but I think everything is, staff is helpful and nice most of them. I have lesson with Trey Adam, he is Manager there too and he is so nice and great teacher. This year I will get the membership to take advantage of cheaper Drinks range, tee time and 6 hole court blooming field.

So after many years of not being around Murfreesboro Tenn. I finally made it back to one of my favorite places. Old Fort. I use to play a gold tournament once a year hear and at another course, I wont mention. It was a wonderful time playing this two day event. They use to have the first stage qualifier for the PGA Tour at this golf course back in the 90s. I will not be going back until the Course gets that old luster back for being what it use to be. Tommy wasn’t respectful treating me and my friends poorly. My friend pre paid online and he didn’t believe him and almost made him pay again. It was to the point where he started raising his voice and rushing him. Another time my friend called two times in the span of 15 minutes and he said “if you call again I’m going to charge you for wasting my time.” Tommy needs to be more respectful and treat customers better.

First time playing this course. Met my dad here after work and played the back 9 only because they were covered up, everybody was trying to get some golf in. Pretty nice course, friendly staff. Almost forgot, we saw 5 deer just casually walk across the course lol.

This was my first time playing at this course and I now know why. I scheduled a tee time for 2 at 12:51pm today and while we were teeing off the course manager decided to add a player to our game making us a 3 some. Now me personally, I don’t play golf with people I don’t know. Call it what you want but this is my time that I paid for to enjoy the experience of a game with my friends. I called the pro shop to explain my situation and was informed “there was nothing that they could do for me”, so I explained that I would come up with my own solution. The course is beautiful and the greens were just aerated. However, the golf marshal was a grumpy butt that made us feel pressured and was rather rude to us for being slow. For context, we Never held anyone up and would have happily allowed others to play through, if in fact we caused a delay. That nice fellow needs to accept that different players have different levels of skill and timing.

Tommy behind the counter is very disrespectful to me and my friends. He has also been very disrespectful multiple times in the past. For example, in the past I have called once or twice in one day and he has said “If you call again I will charge you for wasting my time!”. Another example, just a little bit ago we had a tee time and one of my playing partners pre paid. When we got there Tommy denied him of pre paying and he almost charged him again until one of the other workers came by and confirmed that my playing partner pre paid.

Great public golf course.... Pulling in good amount of parking, walk up and tee #1 on the left and carts straight ahead and the clubhouse to the right... Good sized restaurant & bar, pro shop well stocked and friendly service... Great overall layout!!! Greens June 2022 in just about perfect shape, very receptive and rolled very true... Bunkers were in great shape... Fairways were here and there tight and a thin lie here or there but overall just fair shape
