In summary

Smyrna Municipal Golf Club receives praise for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and the overall enjoyable layout of the course, which offers a good mix of challenge and accessibility. Many golfers appreciate the condition of the greens and fairways, although some mention areas needing improvement and note occasional slow pace of play. While some visitors have had negative experiences with course maintenance and staff interactions, the club remains a popular choice for its value and amenities, including a well-regarded executive course.

Played here recently and had a great time. The course was in good condition, especially the greens, which rolled true. Layout is straightforward but still fun, with enough challenge to keep things interesting. Pace of play was smooth, and the staff was welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

If you can find a hot deal on golf now or barstool golf Smyrna golf course is a great price and decent value for the money. Overall just think it is a little overpriced with their normal rates, but still a great option in the Nashville area. The course was in pretty good condition with some yucky spots on fairways, but overall it was good. Greens were in great shape and tee boxes were probably 6/10. Course layout is fun and enjoyable and offers up some challenge from the back tees while being friendly enough for mid handicappers. I will definitely be back if I can keep finding cheaper than nor…

First time playing here today. Greens were a little rough, fairways had good speed. Pace of play was good up until about hole 14, then slowed quite a bit. Had some good challenging holes. I would play here again.

I’d give Smyrna Golf Course a solid 3 out of 5. It’s clear the course is currently undergoing some work, which is understandable, but it does impact the overall playing experience. The fairways in particular could use some TLC—they’re a bit rough in spots and don’t quite match the level you’d hope for. That said, there’s definitely potential here. With the improvements underway, it looks like the course is heading in the right direction. If the maintenance catches up and conditions improve, this could easily become a more enjoyable and higher-rated place to play. For now, it’s decent, but not…

Nice course! But I think it’s illegal in tennessee to charge a fee if you use a debit card. .. definitely ok to pass the fee to the customer for a credit card, just not a debit card…

Friendly staff, nice club house, and snack bar. Very reasonable rates, $35 senior. First time to play here, course in good shape except the greens. Maybe due to the heat and humidity.

Smyrna golf course is a decent public course. Fairways and most greens were in good shape. There were some greens that were just way too choppy. A little TLC this course could be a top notch course. Decent variety of golf attire and staff is very friendly. Played on a Saturday and it was $55 with cart.

My husband and I absolutely love to golf here. The price is amazing and the staff is always super friendly. I love how easy going the atmosphere is! Straight forward process to an all around fun golf day.

Always love this course with the wide open fairways and non challenging layout. Only reason for 4 stars is because the greens aren’t in good shape but that seems to be the norm for right now.

Mediocre course. Joke of a marshall, get ready for a 5 hour round if his buddies are playing. I'd rather play in traffic than play here again.
