In summary

Indian Hills Golf Club receives high praise for its friendly and professional staff, well-maintained fairways, and enjoyable course layout, which features elevation changes and challenging areas. Many visitors appreciate the improvements being made, including the ongoing clubhouse renovations and added amenities like simulator bays. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens, overwatering issues, and occasional slow play, which detracts from the overall experience for a few.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The greens are in terrible condition—so bad that they might as well move the pins into the fairway. There’s visible black algae on many of the greens, and instead of properly addressing it, they just dump sand on top and call it fixed. It’s clear there’s a lack of care in maintenance. The Bermuda grass is overwatered well into January, leaving the soil soggy all winter. On top of that, they’re cutting holes directly into algae-covered areas without even removing it properly—just putting it right back into the ground. To make matters worse, they’r…

Played this past Thursday as a foursome and the course had been under construction but it looks and plays great now! They are currently working on the clubhouse but I’m sure it will be awesome once they finish it!

Customer service was awesome! Don't believe the one star reviews, a few of the greens were a little rough but the rest of course was great. Theyre obviously in the process of fixing it. Awesome layout and would absolutely return again and again

Course was nice. Greens are little on the slow side with lots of undulations. Fairways are nice, and mostly generous. Clubhouse is large. Has a train track running beside it with lots of views. Was little wet in places, but played nicely.

Course was really nice this round, I even ran into my good friend Drew Melton doing maintenance on hole 14. He was really kind and helpful, and he even caddied me for the rest of the round. Overall, super fun course and every other review on here is lying.

Excellent! When I was there in november, I was super impressed! For a beginner, I'll definitely be there when I move to Murfreesboro this upcoming march! See yinz (Pittsburgh slang/language) soon!

All the staff are nice but the course conditions are so bad and so self inflicted. The last few times I’ve played it’s been an absolute slosh and I couldn’t figure out why because it hadn’t rained. Well after my round this morning I realized why. They are severely over watering the course. This was the green on 7 this morning. That is not rain. That is 15 minutes after watering the green. Standing water. I had to pace off my putt and move it to the other side. It was like this on 75% of the greens and all over the fairways. The course would be half way decent if they dial back the water.

Greens are amazing - it's a joy to play and ride. They're remodeling the clubhouse and that will be spectacular once finished. Staff is extremely professional and kind. Great place!

This course has done an amazing job making improvements from adding 2 Simulator bays, to removing unsightly brush along the river, to working hard to improve greens and fairways. I have played this course a lot over the years and it is in the best shape I have ever seen. Great staff that is always helpful.

I have played this course many times over the years but today will be my last. The condition they have let this course get in this year is shocking. Although they have gotten somewhat better as the summer has progressed, the greens are still in subpar shape to say the least. Today I played as a single and caught up with a 5some (yes 5some!) by the 3rd hole. Despite there being an open hole in front of them, they never let me play through. And of course there is no ranger at this course. But the most frustrating thing was the geofencing on the golf carts. My cart was shut down on two different…

It's a very pretty course nestled into a nice neighborhood. I was out there for the Special Kids Golf Classic, and had a great time!
