In summary

Colo Vista Country Club is appreciated for its scenic layout, particularly the challenging back nine and the standout par-3 15th hole, which offers stunning views of the Colorado River. Many visitors commend the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the ongoing improvements to the course, including the greens and fairways. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the condition of the fairways and cart paths, noting areas that still require attention.

For as much as it cost you think they'd have nice fairways but they don't and the cart path is made of mulch and holes

I really enjoyed the layout and elevation changes and the staff was great. Each hole has its own environment and feel, which I really enjoyed. It is tricky for first timers, so we plan to play here more often to get to know her. The course was in above average shape for being the middle of winter and drought. Live in NW Austin but it'll be worth the drive a little more often. Thanks

Fun tract that hopefully one day gets back to its original condition. Front nine is a bit lackluster. Back nine has lots of different looks, tree lined and dogleggy. Greens were in great shape. Most fairways have many barren spots and ground under repair areas. Many tee box’s need regrading. Cool track I’d been wanting to try, back nine has great views. Management seems to be making a valiant effort to get this place back to once what was.

If you haven't played Colovista in awhile, the course is being transformed. It has some of the best greens around and the restoration of the fairways is nearing completion. We got a great deal last weekend, its worth the drive !

The course is in absolutely awful condition. The “fairways” are filled with patches of sand and rocks and are more of a poorly maintained rough. The “bunkers” have no sand. So much potential but not even close to the $56 I paid to play. I can not recommend enough to not play this course.

We’d like to extend our gratitude and thanks to Bobby Browne and his family and his entire staff out there at the Colo Vista Country Club we came out last weekend. We had a blast. My two sons and I want to extend a further thank you Bobby for being a great friend and a family member I’ve known you for a long time Better than 50 years and in my time and all the people that we know you’ve always done a great job managing being a general manager and a greenskeeper anywhere you have worked we’re looking forward to coming back out getting with y’all and having a Great game!! hasta la vista Bobby!!!

Great golf! Fairways and greens are always green! Love the challenges! Only negative is that a good portion of the cart driving areas need to be turned into concrete. The umpaved areas are bone-rattling. My old back doesn't like it! 🤣

The course is in much better condition than this past summer when it was generally overwatered and the rough cut high to renovate the fairways, I’m told. Now it plays like it should, and a nice variety considering the hilly terrain, and open front and more tight back nine.

Absolutely the worst course I have played. I'm a varsity golfer and I'm always going course to course around Texas for tournaments. Recently for our district tournament we played cokovista and I was in utter shock to say the least when I stepped up to the first tee box. The fairways are terrible. Divots, patches, etc and the greens were sandy and patchy everywhere it was terrible to putt on. I'm not just being a sore loser as I did win the tournament but I will say before hand, I went as a practice round with my stepdad and I was in awe that for the price you pay to play, the course and manageme…

Booked a group outing. Ethan & Bobby were great to work with and they made our day super easy. The starter is a nice touch, helps to keep players on time. Course is definitely in better shape from tees to greens. Pace of play was good as well

Lots of good things happening at ColoVista! Fairways are in shape and greens are fantastic. New hitting mats getting installed at driving range and more cart paths getting upgraded to pavement. Thank you Bobby and staff.
