The club's amenities, including the practice areas and on-course refreshments, receive favorable mentions. The staff boosted this from 4 stars to 5. Course was beautiful. Some green issues on the back nine, but overall in good shape. (14 holes were in peak condition) Check in process, staff, amenities were all excellent. Practice area is small but well maintained….range balls all stocked ready to go. I was able to go practice some easily the day before our round. Staff was super helpful and upbeat. I witnessed the club pro giving some lessons when I was practicing and he was super positive, encouraging, and seemed very very good at helping both students he worked with. He asked me how I was doin…

Today, my friends and I had another fantastic outing at Lost Pines golf course, our second visit in nearly a year. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed the game even more this time around. The staff were incredibly courteous and professional, ensuring a delightful customer experience. The greens were lightning-fast, requiring careful attention to avoid overshooting with the putter. The lady at the counter provided thorough instructions on where to go and how to play, including details about the driving range and our tee time. Tiny’s cafe offered a great spot for drinks, snacks, and a rest…

Absolutely loved our stay at Lost Pines Hyatt. A wonderfully thought out Austin, Texas family friendly experience! Rooms were clean, spacious and above all the staff was friendly and helpful. We hope to have the chance to return some day soon!

High expectations given the $200 price tag, didn’t come close to living up to it. - by hole #3, we were “20 minutes behind pace” according to the gps. Starter did nothing to manage. - called the pro shop on #4. They did nothing. - talked to the marshal at the turn, he did nothing. - marshals were visible but entirely ineffective, ignoring the painfully slow 2some ahead of us who left two open holes in front of them and at least 3-4 groups stuck behind. - endlessly waiting - slogged thru 17 holes in 5+ hours despite the scorecard and signage claims of a strict 4 hour and 15 minute pace. The o…

Course was in stellar condition. Overall, a challenging course with lots of elevation changes. Greens were well kept, and you could get true reads on putts. Only complaint would be maybe a little over watered around the greens. Pretty soggy in a few spots. Otherwise it was one of the best courses I've played in the Austin area.

This course was top tier. The resort looked amazing as well. Most Hyatt's are! Paul in the pro shop was great and got my tee time moved up 50 mins. Very knowledgeable and great customer service. Course was in great shape. A lot of singles that didn't want to pair up, so there was alot of waiting. Kind of silly to be waiting on each hole when there wasn't that many people on the course. Still loved my visit and round. Highly recommend. Thanks Wolfdancer 👍

Absolutely love this course. While extremely challenging, extremely rewarding. Employees are very kind and attentive, even coming around with cold towels on the warmer days. Golf carts are top of the line. We come back as often as we can!

Have played many course throughout the years all over the U.S. and this is our first golf trip to Austin. Lost Pines was our first of 5 courses and is was definitely the worse of them all. The course is not well kept at all from the range to the fairways to the greens. The layout gives the course potential if the resort put some money into the maintenance. As such, the fee of $170 is way overpriced. I only look pictures of the range and didn't bother for the rest of the course because it was bad.

Spectacular course.. Staff was very friendly from the moment you walk into the club house to the start shack. Opening hole is very nice and confident building, then buckle up because the fun just about to start. The course was in excellent condition..greens are difficult to read and judge the suttle undulating breaks. The only negative would be the tee boxes they need it some TLC.. But its a must play and I will return.

Awesome course. Beautifully tucked away. Very generous Course Marshal brought some watermelon scented wet towels to cool us off along with complementary drinks. Very impressed. Will play here again.

Great, fun, challenging course! Beware they let lots of bunkers go and they have grass growing in them and very little sand. They also don't have coolers on the carts so take one. The bar/food stop on 1/9 is closed at this time.

Played 13 June and had a GREAT time. Fairways were in great shape and the greens were lightening fast, but rolled true. Only issue were some hard clay bunkers on a few holes but fortunately it was my playing partners who found them not me. Great overall experience and ca't wait to get back to Wolfdancer!
