Columbia Lakes Country Club & Resort

My family had a family reunion there. We reserved several cottages, the accommodations were not acceptable. I was told I had the “luxary” cottage, there were bug, spiders, & roaches dead and alive. The bedding was dirty & the outside door wasn’t secure. I immediately checked out. Management was notified & proceeded to inform me that housekeeping spent several hours cleaning my cottage upon my arrival.

Trash! Don’t stay here ever!!! We live local and are in the middle of a remodel which required us to be out of our home for a few days so thought we’d rent a couple cottages. Big mistake!!! We ended up leaving and not staying. I don’t even know where to begin to give you reasons to not stay here. Dirty, filthy bedding. One of the beds broke and hit the ground when you sat on it. One of the rooms had a huge blister on the ceiling where water was collecting and about to pop at any moment. They had advertised and told me the rooms have been remodeled but whomever was doing the remodel shouldn’t e…

Roach infested, & dirty upon arrival. I went and purchased cleaning supplies to clean. Nobody ever came to do it. There was solid waste in the commode & left over food in the oven / fridge. Spider webs everywhere & compacted dust on all the ceiling fans. After our first day, they kicked us out due to overbooking but am still waiting for a refund. Very unprofessional & unsanitary establishment. Do not stay here!!!

This place has so much potential but serious issues need to be addressed such as roaches and general lack of cleaning. The cottages suit our groups needs wonderfully, but we are questioning whether we need to look elsewhere next year. One of the rooms had limited electricity which was being worked on when we arrived, but was never fixed. We killed numerous large roaches. We realize this is a heavily wooded area and bugs will get into places but there needs to be set pest control. My family rented a total of 5 different cottages and rooms. We all had a great time. The rooms were large and clean. They put us all near each other so we could visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We are already planning another gathering of our large group.

We had a big family gathering and many relatives from all over came to stay for the weekend. We couldn’t have ask for a better location and or service. Melissa and staff were very accommodating. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, perfect common area and kitchen. Quiet and convenient. We highly recommend this place. Thanks again 😁

Amazing place. Nice staff. Fuel max just outside the gates and small store on property. Never rented myself but friends of mine do. Nice calm and quiet . Deer run around freely in yards and all over.

It being in a gated community was a little odd, you have to check in with the gate keeper every time you come in. Maps took us way back into columbia lakes to a different motel when we got here, so just know its the first one, not the one way deep into the community. The rooms are clean and the neighbors are quiet. Theres a convenience store really close by. Not seeing any pest kind of bugs, but i did find a little oak worm, seems like a chill dude, didnt mind him. Ac works great and the tvs are up to date. This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever been to, and the reasons don’t end. The cottages are absolutely infested with frogs spiders, insects, and the whole animal kingdom. The rooms don’t close without locking them. Housekeeping comes about every 5 days. The hot water runs cold randomly. The rooms don’t have lights. No internet. DATA roaming is terrible. And the cleaning staff is very rude. Would definitely not recommend this place.

This is a beautiful place to come for a country setting. We are here for business but would recommend it for vacation, extended stay or just a couple days to relax. The office staff and housekeepers are very friendly and prompt to help you with anything you need. They come and clean and bring you new towels and take your trash daily. If you want to stay somewhere and feel at home, this is the place to be.

The stay wasn’t as comfortable as I thought it would be. First the place has alot critters deal with to keep you up at night. The first time I was going to use the microwave I found a very cool surprise of extremely moldy pizza from the last guest . The beds were not the best but did the job. There was no wifi available for me to use. They don’t provide ice . You will need to buy it yourself at the convenient store.
