Phenomenal experience! from the time we pulled in until the time we left, the hospitality staffing, members and course were fantastic! Seth Raynor was an absolute genius and you can see it in person on the flat. low country with the green templates. false fronts and bunkering making it feel very unique down here in comparison to most other flat land golf courses. unfortunately the only thing that put a damper on this day was lightning. our round was called once we started the seventh hole and didn't get to finish so I'm hopeful I will get another invite and opportunity to finish what would hav…

Played out at CC of Charleston as a guest with a buddy while in town for work. Awesome course. They had just sprayed for the offseason but it still played great. The clubhouse and patio areas are nice and a good place to hang out and grab a drink post round

A historic, private club with a classic Seth Raynor‑designed golf course that many golfers praise for its interesting layout, thoughtful bunkering, and well‑maintained greens, plus lovely views and Southern hospitality. Members enjoy tennis, pool, dining and social events. Experiences vary by service and access, but most visitors find it a cherished Charleston gem.

Nice old school course. Large raised greens are in fantastic shape - missed putts ain't the green's fault. Some greens are very undulating, and many feature false fronts. Reasonable pace of play - our group finished in 3 hrs on a crowded Saturday. Lunch was quite good too

Dinner overall was good. Wish I had gotten the tile fish. Steak was a bit past medium rare. Bar and wine selection was great. Room was just fine for the size of the group. Dinner was good value for the cost.

I would not advise joining at this time, serious changes need to be made. We are no longer surprised to be served a cold meal or to be charged for items we didn't order or were apart of an inclusive menu. So many years there so we try again. We arrived just after 6pm hoping with so few in the Grill we'd do well but again cold meals and extra charges. Maybe this will make a difference, our comments sure haven't.

No idea why the managing staff is so incompetent. Making your employees come into work on hurricane warnings and tornado warnings is ridiculous. Be better. With out them you have no business.

Went during the middle of summer and the course was in great shape. It's a very open and forgiving course yet is still very challenging. I'm a low 90's golfer and had a great time out there.

Construction work all over the golf site. Tent is set up to serve sandwiches and chicken bowls with no refrigeratoration. Dirt and bugs everywhere and little concern for the Working Elements of their employees. Grass is dead and course is not well maintained. Moreover, the management of the food and beverage department is very unprofessional and has poor communication skills. Needs a thorough DHC inspection.
