In summary

Country Oaks Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, good value, and picturesque setting featuring old oak trees and wildlife. Many visitors enjoy the course layout and find the facilities adequate, with some highlighting the well-stocked pro shop. However, there are recurring concerns about course maintenance, particularly regarding the greens and fairways, and some visitors have reported negative experiences with customer service.

Very nice course, great value especially if you're an amateur golfer. We didn't get paired with others and were able to play ourselves. We were allowed to start at any hole. Ride alongs are free. You can take a golf cart pretty much anywhere on the course which was nice. Facilities were good nothing really to complain about. The staff was very friendly. All in all, I highly recommend it and definitely will be back for more.

Course upkeep is horrendous, grass is all dead and greens are rock hard. Multiple fairways and greens littered heavily with fallen leaves. No water available for players. 50$ to play is atrocious make the drive to Cairo or Tallahassee before wasting your money here

Visited from MS and played 18 holes on rental clubs. I was greatly impressed by the selection in the pro shop and friendly staff inside. Once I was fully geared up, I got to experience some of the best grass I’ve ever seen from a course. Even with a select few patchy greens due to lack of rain- I was totally taken away at how beautiful this place is! I scored 103 out there but was more than thrilled for my amateur experience out there.

Course upkeep is a one star. Fairways are sand stone with no top soil, patchy, bumpy, greens have bunkers in the middle of them. You know its bad when theres more sand on the greens then there are in the divot fixer cup. Should be a 10 dollar course…. Or the city should shutter down for a year or 2, to give it a make over.

The course is rough, but pretty - and cheap. We have enjoyed golfing here but the bathrooms on the 15th hole should be locked and condemned. Definitely a public health hazard. The workers should be ashamed.

Not pleased with the service. Guy at front desk could be costing you buisness. Will not be returning any time soon.

It's an OK course for the price. They need WATER available on the course. They took it out during Covid. After the restrictions were over, I was told they were going to put it back out. That was over 2 years ago.

I've always enjoyed playing this course. Been playing here since the late 80's early 90's. Course has definitely changed a ton since those days, and for the better. The course price is competitive and for the most part it's well kept. Great course to have a good outing with friends. Bring your own beverages and food if your gonna make a day out of it, but they do have a lounge if needed. RIP Ben Celaya

Nice public course. Layout is nice. Fairways are a little hard and the greens were recently punched. Really lucked out on the day today with the breeze . Cannot complain about the heat, was nice to get out and play golf!

I always have a good time playing here. It is a great course for the price and they run the place pretty well. If you fancy an adult beverage or decent lunch you may want to take that with you... I'm pretty sure I've never seen a cart person here. This course is definitely worth a visit if you are a value golfer...

We live on Iowa, but my dad is from Thomasville. We came down to see some family and friends and I brought my clubs. Hadn't played Country Oaks for probably 10 years. The people in the clubhouse were very nice and took good care of me, gave me a yardage book to help me. It's been pretty dry down here so the course was a little dry, but had a wonderful time. The golf course has great character. Watch out for hole 13, it wants to hurt your feelings. :-) Overall great course in a wonderful town. I'll be back!
