Great track in Azle Tx. Tough but fun course. Nice elevation changes. Long & narrow. Long par 3’s. Course in very good shape. Large greens which gives you false hope. Greens are in great shape! Worth the drive. No driving range- it’s under construction. However, saw the plans- will be a great practice facility! Friendly staff!

Thankfully they got rid of the GPS golf carts. Over a year ago was the last time I played there because of the GPS carts. What a pain! This year the grass is growing again, the greens look better. This summer has been kind to Cross Timbers turf. The staff is always nice and helpful. The Patio update is great. The restaurant and seating remodel is great. Can't wait to come back to play or just to eat a burger.

The Marshall was on our butts from the beginning. Accused us of bringing beers in, and not buying from the clubhouse. The girls didn’t give us a receipt. Shouldn’t the clubhouse know to give a receipt ? Then he drove by again accusing us of drinking twisted teas when I told him multiple times to check the ice chest. He told us in the second hole to pick up the pace because “heavy hitters” were teeing off on the first hole. We were not playing slow. We never saw anyone behind us the rest of the game. Felt harassed the entire 18. This place isn’t cheap. I won’t be back. I enjoy this course it’s…

Challenging course. Fair number of uphill and downhill holes and tilted, quick greens.

I’ve played a quite a few public courses in the area and this is easily one of my new favorites!! I love how isolated it feels, with beautiful greens and fairways for the price! The food was surprisingly good and everyone in the clubhouse was very friendly. I will definitely be a regular here now! Update: I just read that the course was over seeded in september which makes sense why it was so beautiful in January !! Love this course

Hidden Gem! Phenomenal course with great grounds prep and greens are super clean, well kept. New range is amazing. Can’t wait for the new putting/chipping range to open.

Used to be my favorite hidden gem course, I was able to sneak into town for my brothers Bachelor party. Called them this morning to ask if I could be their 5th because nobody knew I was gonna make it. Guy in the pro shop was condescending and told me no because they have enough carts. I guarantee you people cancel and they would end up being able to fit me. Just disappointed they were not able to make accommodations for a brother surprising his brother for a bachelor party. Ruined what could’ve been a special day for a family due to lack of care.

This place has shaped up nice over the past few months, played a round yesterday, greens were in great shape! One of the best courses to play in the DFW metroplex, and it’s pretty fair priced. Clubhouse staff is always nice, and the RoadRunner Grill is the best clubhouse food in the area! Highly recommend playing a round here!

The renovations of the practice areas are just about done! That said, an entire year of not having revenue from the driving range has obviously led to them cheaping out in other areas. The newly paved parking lot was done by the far lowest bidder where I’d argue it’s in worse shape than it was to begin with. Regular golf maintenance is lacking too. Crabgrass in the fairways, weeds and other grasses growing in the greens, and they’re not being mowed regularly. Still giving it a 4* for hopes that’ll it be back to what I know it to be. For the meantime though, not great…
