In summary

Squaw Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its challenging and well-maintained course layout, featuring excellent greens and fairways, along with a friendly and helpful staff. The course offers a scenic setting with notable elevation changes and a spacious practice area. However, some visitors mention the lack of food services and occasional dry areas on the course. There are also isolated complaints about customer service and course conditions.

What a FANTASTIC surprise this turned out to be! This is HANDS DOWN, the best $58 golf course I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Fairways were very good. Greens were very good. Sure...the tee boxes were a little dry. There were a few other patchy places. But let me just tell you, all in all...just a spectacular find.

Wow, first time playing here after all these years of going to Squaw Valley. This was a nice surprise! The layout is cool with some elevation changes. The par 3s are long, two are 200 yards from the blues, one is 175-180, and the only short one is 160. The par 5s are reachable except for the 18th, which is straight uphill, and you can reach the creek with your tee shot if you're a long hitter. The greens look like they were punched a few weeks ago, but they're already healing nicely. Didn't even notice. The greens aren't fast or slow. I'm definitely going back. Oh, and one thing, bring your ow…

Went on a coupon- course was in good shape- not great. Had some dry areas but overall not bad. Greens were slow. Nice practice areas & staff was friendly. Exit ranch house road off of 20 in willow park. Deer on the course is always cool to see.

I had seen this golf course a couple of years ago rated in the top 50 in the state of Texas. I had it on my list of places to play last year until the pandemic. Decided to make a quick trip up from San Antonio to play it today. And the first few months of the year North Texas was hammered with storm after storm after storm. The golf course in certain places as they told me at 7 to 8 ft of water in the fairways. Even though it wasn't in the best condition today because they're working on it I can tell it's a really good golf course. They've recently aerated the fairways and some of them were in…

Love this course. Incredible layout and value for the $$$! It’s BYOB and they don’t have a restaurant/grill, but if you plan ahead you won’t miss it. The staff here is so friendly and helpful and I’ve never played a round here that took longer than 4 hours… even on days when it’s been CPO. The greens are in EXCELLENT shape and the bunkers are also very well maintained. The course also drains exceptionally well, so even after a good rain it’s not muddy. They also have a massive practice area with perfectly maintained greens for short game work. Really, can’t think of enough great things to say…

Greens are very nice, fairways in great shape, please remind yor patrons to repair ball marks. Members and regular place you have a very nice course leave it better than you find it. Rake one extra foot print, please fix your divot and one extra. Really enjoyed a beautiful, peaceful round at a very nice price. I will be back, even with the 1 and 1/2 hour drive. It was worth it!

The greens were in excellent condition. Fairways were in good condition as well, besides a few holes that were being worked on. Nice bunkers and layout. Fun course to play. Tee box's do need some work, but great course for the price.

Came down for a wedding with some buddies got a tee time drove the 30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth to play when we got there told us we couldn’t play cause we look like a certain group. 2 of us are from Kansas and 2 are from illinois and have never played golf here in Texas at all then they wouldn’t give us a name of any of us who are banned cause we have never played golf in Texas and then wouldn’t give us a managers number to leave a complaint I am appalled at being treated like that

Great layout and great condition!! Greg Bird Realtor eXp Realty Review Update: May 29, 2026 Top-tier conditions today! ⛳️ The course is in perfect shape—greens are rolling true and the fairways are immaculate. It’s easily one of the best days for a round this season. If you're thinking about booking a tee time, don't wait. 10/10 experience.

Terrible customer service. Our group had a child that needed to be a rider. Tee time was at 12:40, just 20 minutes before their "no spectator carts rule" we asked if we could come back at 1 and pay the rider fee for the cart. To which we were told, it has to be a tee time after 1. We asked if we could possibly swap tee times with someone and were told no. Only a couple members of our group decided to play cause of this, which they saw groups out before their tee time with 3 carts. They were easily going to get $150+ from the members that decided not to play cause they were unwilling to work wi…

This one is tough for me because the course is stunning. It's just one of the nicest I've played in the last couple of years. However, the course has no grill and no cart service. I didn't realize that, and I came hungry looking forward to a lunch and round at the course. This course also has a very tough layout and will challenge even the better players out there. I would think twice about playing here again, just not for me. But I can see how others would really enjoy it.
