In summary

Desert Trails RV Park & Golf Course offers a convenient location for travelers, especially those with large RVs, with easy access to nearby stores and the border. The park features a 9-hole golf course, full hookups, and a friendly community atmosphere. However, some visitors have raised concerns about maintenance issues, such as aging facilities and inconsistent Wi-Fi, as well as security problems and staff interactions.

The pool and hottub tiles are coming off , concrete chipped up. The doors on the activities center are literally swelling up and peeling apart. This place is dealing with some major deffered maintenance issues. The people staying there are as nice as could be , but the 2 women who checked us in were one rude and the other was clueless.

Used as a quick 1 night stopover before crossing the border @ Mexicali. Cheaped out on a 15A / water site. It was in a gravel parking lot near the pool. Recommend a full hookup up site is you stay more than a night. The washrooms were clean, but the showers were aged. The pool was nice but very cold! The dump station was the worst we have seen on our trip from. Canada through the US. The concrete basin was covered in dry mud lumps (at least we hope it was mud!). The dump backed up while we were unloading.... fortunately is was only gray water h we had to dump the cassette toilet in the washr…

Excellent option to overnight large RVs before crossing Mexicali East. Easy pull throughs, full hookups. I usually stay several nights as El Centro has every store you need within a 10 minute drive. Home Depot across the street.

Very nice and clean. The only draw back the manure smell at nite. Maybe we came at the wrong time of the year.

We store our toy hauler here. In January when we dropped it off. We were accused of trying to steal and were threatened with “we are gunna call the cops if you don’t get out of here” by a couple of the residents of this place. Mind you we always try to be as quiet as we can and be in and out to be respectful of the people that live here even though we pay our dues every month. Now March we come to pick up our toy hauler and it’s been broken into and our generator was stolen and NO ONE SAW ANYTHING AND THEIR IS NOTHING ON THE CAMERAS. No one called us to let us know that our door was OPEN and t…

Horrendous tenant treatment, discrimination of disabled tenant/customers. not safe. Front office staff LIED to uniformed officers and Social Workers. Offers 6 month stays but "you" can't stay more than a month. That's against federal and state laws and ada/FHA regulations. Do not recommend

The golf course isn't too bad. Nice little 9 hole course that's friendly with water hazards. Perfect place to work on those par three shots.

Stopped here for 2 nights on our way to Baja. Pretty typical camp where you are pretty close to your neighbors. Very well maintained. Hot tub was closed due to weather they said. Looks like quite a few people here for the winter. Nice rec room, pool and the small golf course looks fun. Nice ending library by office. We were able to fill and dump from our parking spot so we will be all ready to head south. Very close to some fast food. I recommend The Habit across the street. Yum!

Very nice and clean RV Park and Golf Club. Exceptional phone assistance with my reservation. As we arrived after the office closed, our reservation info was taped to the window complete with my receipt as planned. The bathroom was very clean. Electrical hookups for 30 and 50 amps. The overnight RV spaces are large and are pull-through spaces for added convenience.

We were to do an overnight here which turned into 2 nights. The pull thru short term sights were narrow with no table or place for 1. The electric panel was messed up from abuse and age. The park itself was nice, surrounding a 9 hole golf course. The ladies in the office were kind and helpful.

Nice campground, very nice people. We stoped only for night to refresh. About wifi. They said they have. We didn't find it. Cell reception very slow. As i said, overnight only so we are ok.
