Falling River Country Club

Falling River is one of the better golf courses in the Lynchburg area and is always a lot of fun to play. The course was in good condition for the most part except for the tee boxes which were in rough shape. The course isn’t overly long but has small greens placing an emphasis on accuracy. The staff and members are friendly and welcoming and make you feel right at home during your round.

Fantastic golf course. Easy going, friendly people. Best way to spend an afternoon. We absolutely love this course. I just wish there was a restaurant / bar to hang out in before/after. Last time we played, I found a robin egg on the course!

Falling River Country Club, located in Appomattox, Va., is a place where folks can feel comfortable; whether they are golf enthusiasts or just want to soak up the sunshine at the swimming pool. The course is exquisitely maintained and is gorgeous! The staff members are energetic They know folks by first name and strive to meet guests' needs to ensure they enjoy their time.

First time playing at this beautiful course. However, the mistreatment from one of their board members to their non-member guests is quite disgusting. For someone with status in an organization to act the way he did is inappropriate, uncalled for, and extremely embarrassing. For a golf course to hold such praise from the golf community in the surrounding area, it certainly didn’t meet expectations. To entertain the potential idea of joining this golf course as a full time member is out of the question, lost my future investment and other further business.

Falling River is amazing! They have super sweet people and an awesome swim team. We (the falling river frogs) practice 5 days a week in the summer and compete every Monday. I love my team because everyone is so welcoming, laid-back, and fun to be around.

Great place to play golf! Gorgeous course with breath taking views with a helpful, and friendly staff. Smaller greens than most other courses, but it makes you play better😉. Overall 5 stars for me.

Really nice course. I will go back during the summer when the fairways are green and mabe warmer with less wind. All in all, i had a great time.

Golf course is always in great shape. Probably the best fairways in Central Va. Staff is always friendly.
