Great country golf course. No frills. Poor customer service at the pro shop desk. Just small town rudeness. If you can deal with that the prices are good and the course is kept well and just a nice place to play around of golf.

Stayed here for the Air Bnb, but had an amazing time staying on the property. Absolutely beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere!

In town from Tokyo and played Winton Farm as my third round of golf in America. Great cost and the course conditions are much better than you would think, considering the low price point. Fairways were well maintained and not overflowing with the recent leaves falling off the trees. Greens were soft and rolling smooth. Would have liked to visit the historic manor, but it was under renovation. and the restaurant was closed. Overall a great day of golf; would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We all enjoyed the course and look forward to playing it again. Holes were long which made it fun and challenging for second shot. And weather was not overly cooperative but we all agreed to come back to it soon.

Cart paths horrible shape. Some fairways need work (especially #18), some carts in bad shape

This is an enjoyable course. They have gotten a bit pricey. The fairways are being grown out, which is understandable during heat and dryness but they are high. The greens are great, there is a driving range, most of the holes are fair and open, some tee boxes are uneven and sparse in grass, the sand traps are not playable they are fairly sad.

Beautiful golf course. One of the best layouts I have ever played. The greens are the best I have ever seen. Cart path and traps could use a little work. If you want to walk you will love this place. The staff was great and the restaurant was super. Go play it, you will love it. Best price in the Central VA area.

The summer rate was fair for the course. About every green was in near perfect condition which is an indicator of the superintendent's care. Given the current economic climate, I understand you have to cut some corners which are apparent when you play. By no means are they distractions to your round. I'd like to see it when they have full staff available to manicure the place. We'll be making regular visits to the course.

Had an event here for a class reunion! Not too familiar with the area but it wasn't hard to find. Outside there was ramp which was great for hauling my equipment inside. Nice sized venue. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Decent drinks. Would definitely recommend but when they say it's time to go, it's time to go! I had to rush to break down my equipment and ended up putting somethings back properly once I got outside. We all had a great time there!

First time playing this course. Liked the layout, greens in good shape and can be challenging depending on pin location. Tee's not in very good shape, some were hard and almost needed a hammer to get tees in ground. Carts are old and need to be replaced. Has a nice deck/patio to sit, on and have a cold drink, or lunch before of after a round.

Greens and fairways were in great shape. Cart paths were rough. Course was more difficult than it first appeared but a good challenge.
