In summary

Fountain Green Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and the overall pleasant golfing experience it offers, particularly for military personnel and their families. Many visitors enjoy the course layout and find the greens well-maintained, though some express concerns about inconsistent upkeep, particularly in the fairways and tee boxes. There are also occasional issues with equipment availability and customer service, which some feel detracts from the overall experience.

Very disappointed in the care that this course is getting. The course its self has definitely been let go. Went to the driving range today and the ball machine is completely out of balls and no body is out collecting them. It’s truly sad because this is such a great spot if it was taken care of. They can definitely do way better.

My son and I played 1 week ago. Even though the front 9 was down the course was nice to play in the fairways. Many of the folks were nice even though getting a Tee Time was confusing when I called there.

This place needs to be mowed. I understand It rained all week, but come on. You guys had 16-18 perfectly fine but the rest of the course was a jungle. Fairways non existent, basically rough and your greens were like putting on a shag carpet. Tee boxes are terrible as well. Played this course last year many times last year. This is the worst I’ve seen it.

don’t even know what to say, just look at the pictures. Can’t see it staying open much longer. Truly a shame.

I hope more people take the time to play this course. It's a hidden gem that needs more mention. The greens and hitting range are nicely kept, there's a good equipment shop. The cafe is a nice option to eat at - even non-golfers come for the food. The staff is great as well. If it weren't for the poor condition of the building Fountain Green has been given as a clubhouse, I would give this place 5 stars.

Attempted to call and inquire about lessons. Me- “Hi there. Do you offer lessons?” Employee on the line- “Nah.” Literally nothing else offered. Way to make a potential customer feel small, and to continue to further the perception of golf courses being for a “certain class of people“. Learn to treat people with respect and dignity- and remember you’re a small golf course on a sleepy army base, not Augusta National.

I have been Golfing at Fountain Green for the last 2 yrs and each year it gets better and better here. I drive over 60 miles to golf at Fort Dix and this is because of how nice they keep the course. Great Job Everyone!!!

A military course that is really getting worse each day. Management needs to stop the cheaters ( non payers) , they are playing in tee time slots and causing backups! The pro shop has very little in the way of equipment, clubs , shoes etc. It's sad to see a great course looking like an open field with holes on it! It's embarrassing to see it this way!

My unit conducted a golf scramble here and the staff was extremely supportive! The grounds were very well maintained and the management provided generous prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. Highly recommend this venue for unit functions or just to go play great golf.

Probably the worst golf course I ever been! -Kart will always have a delay on the accelerator and if it’s your bad day it will just shut down on you in the mid game. -tee box’s are just trashed! Uneven ground, tees left every where, and so much divots that you rather place your tee on a dirt or mud. -greens are the worst! Every green from 1-18 is just nothing but divots! Not a single player will repair their divot. Putting on green is like putting on hard wood floor at home with your kids bread crumbs every where. Over all it’s THE WORST maintained golf course!

Nice peaceful course. The 1st time actually playing golf outside of putt putt. Staff is nice and usually plenty of golf carts and time to play. Driving range is good for practice. No frill
