Fredericksburg Country Club

We had our wedding here on 04.22.23 and we loved it! Christine and her team helped make things go smoothly throughout the night! Everyone raved about the food, the bar tenders and servers were great and I loved being able to get ready on site the morning of the wedding in the ladies locker room! We wanted an outdoor wedding, but the weather made us have to move it inside and their team helped get the space ready and flip it for our reception! I definitely recommend getting married or having any event here! ☺️

We had a wonderful experience having our daughter's birthday party at the Fredericksburg Country Club! The team worked with us to create a party that was exactly what our daughter wanted despite not having done something like it before. They were accommodating and had great ideas to ensure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend!

This country club has a lot to offer. You can stay active with their beautiful 18 hole golf course, outdoor swimming pool, outdoor and indoor tennis courts. But wait...there is more! The historical home has been converted into a great place to socialize. I have played here several times and have been impressed with the consistency shown over the years regarding service and conditioning. I have played the course in the Spring, Summer, and Fall and besides a few rough spots here and there the course overall holds up well throughout the year and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into maintain the greens (they're always fast and tricky).

The course was in great shape. However the management team is horrible. We had a free round because our tournament was rained out. We planned a time to go and use our free round and it was incredibly obvious we were not welcome. We played as a group of 4 in less then 4 hours and it felt like they did everything they could to get us off the course anytime we ran into them. Would not recommend.

Enjoyed my visit, after a long absence, for a family wedding. Clean, polite and attentive staff, well maintained.

I'm a current member - since 2017- and I'll say the staff is TOP KNOTCH but many of the members have proven to be extremely cold and not friendly. 8 years of membership and the only relationships we feel we have are when we go to the club and see the smiling faces of the staff but the coldness of the members and the side glances of "we don't know you" is very off putting. Think of it as trying out a new church where everyone stares at you like "why are you here?!?" Don't have your wedding here. My daughter got married in June, just now received the final bill which was incorrect. We went through 4 wedding coordinators, they did not save the top of her cake and made promises which were not delivered on. Venue is very pretty but the staff made us feel uncomfortable. We did recieve a $236 credit for "miscommunication".

Hosting our wedding here was a delight! The venue, food, and organization/suggestions of Amy Rapaport-Carper made our event spectacular. I highly recommend this venue for your next event! Our guests were greeted by a well organized staff who provided food and drink in classy parlors decorated with fireplaces and wood furniture. Meanwhile my new husband and I took photos on the grounds and were hand delivered Whiskey down by the river!
