A very good course. The Fredericksburg VFW had a golf outing here. The staff was very wonderful and so very helpful that we get to do the outing here again next year

Once they get boxes and bunkers all uniform it will be legit 5/5. Very consistent quality out there. The Gauntlet has only taken steps forward over the last few years. Even more great things gs to come with the new additions to range and club house.

A great first experience at the Gauntlet! A great test of golf and the course is in great shape for the beginning of spring. The staff is top notch. Hard to find all the combinations!! I appreciate the hospitality and hope to be back soon. Have great golf season. ⛳️

I truly enjoyed it, from the course, the atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Also, my most challenging course to date and I will be back.

Great course setup. Reasonable prices (green fees and food service). Staff are both helpful and great to talk to. Often I feel like the patrons at the bar are like the enjoyable characters from the 80s TV show Chears.

I have been golfing here for over a year now and let me tell you, this is my favorite club I have ever frequented. The conditions are always top notch, the new carts are comfy and quick, I have tried most of the food from their bar menu and it is all tasty and well prepared every time; the staff there in general are just always on top of it and friendly. I read another review that said Augustine was in better shape and that is just the farthest thing from the truth having played both courses this month. The course itself is a very fun and challenging layout which may turn some golfers away, bu…

This is a technically challenging course. The greens were fast and the sand traps hard...plenty of hazards to test your skill. The 19th hole has a nice bar, friendly staff, and good food. #OwlsTweet #BirdLife #BirdsDayOut #feedingTheRaptor @MeetMrOwl

This course will make you think. You must be willing to hit every club in the bag if you plan to score well here. Lots of risk/reward options from the tee box. Don't expect super fast and smooth greens, this is not an exclusive country club. However the staff will treat you like it is. Great course for the money and you better bring your A game or it will eat you alive.

I came to GuantletGolf Course today intending to sign up for a membership after having a decent experience the week before the food was good, the place was clean, and the accommodations were solid. Unfortunately, today changed my mind completely. After filling out all my information, I stepped out to my car to grab my credit card. When I came back, I was told by another staff member that the manager (I believe that’s who she was) had an attitude and refused to come back out to finish the process. I don’t understand why, but if that’s how they treat people who are ready to commit their time and…

I gave two stars because the course has not been in awful but also not great shape for the past year + however the greens feed are still climbing. Augustine is not far away, maintained and kept up and typically about $20 cheaper. The carts are much nicer and less outdated also. I used to love the gauntlet as it was my home course but even your winter rates were outrageous. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze at that cost. I will still play there occasionally I will just play regularly at Augustine. Thank you for reaching out for clarification.

If you want to play Speed golf, go there. My partner and I were on the first hole and they were already pushing us to hurry up. So we decided to quit and get our money back. The starter was very rude to us. We will never be going back there again.
