Staff is friendly and the course has a great layout, but the shag like greens made putting no fun.

Course was not in good a shape as the fairways grass (if you want to call it that) was thin and lots of mud shots. 3 greens were in bad shape. We had tee times starting at 9:23am but the frost delay was until 11:30 (sun was out all morning) which was way overkill and even members were complaining. The manager screamed at the top of his lungs at my party of 10 because we were standing on the grass by the road which he stated was part of the course and was ready to give us our money back. After play we come back and the bar and golf shop were locked up. Not a good experience and it will be a lon…

Augustine Golf Club was the perfect backdrop for our romantic anniversary celebration. The venue itself is stunning and set the tone beautifully for the evening. Ron, the manager, kept excellent communication with me up until the day of the event. He was so easy to work with, answered all of my questions, and was incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious, the drinks were even better, and the staff was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience — it truly made our night unforgettable!

Course is in good shape, but many of the tee boxes are in bad shape or under renovation. Greens are good, cart path is in decent shape. Only one porta potty on the course on the front nine. Lots of poison ivy in the woods, so stay on the course! Gas powered golf carts, ours had trouble starting.

This golf course is top-notch, with a fantastic staff and an incredible layout. But what really surprises me is the food—it's on par with a high-quality restaurant. Every visit is a great experience, both on and off the course. Highly recommend playing here!

I have a variety of experiences at Augustine ranging from great to only average. The pace of play can be an issue at time out here, and the greens have seen better days (they were actually solid about 4 or 5 years ago). The food is great and the clubhouse is spacious with nice views of the 18th hole, and I overall quite like the layout.

This is such a terrible chorus during the winter and summer. The grains are in fairways are so bad that you have to just replace your ball into a better spot cause it lands in a terrible divot or mud in the fairway

Awesome course. Lots of fun and still challenging. Most holes are open. Course was in great condition considering how late in the season it is. Staff was great as well other than the course marshal. Lol. .

It’s ok. Used to be the best course around but it’s gone downhill. Great layout but condition lacks and greens are slow.

EDIT 4, 2023 UPDATE: Management has changed, yet again. New carts are said to be incoming and they have revamped the range. As of today (end of May) its not looking like its going to be a good year. The tee boxes looked great at the end of last year, as did the greens (though they play REALLY SLOW) but the course still struggles with thin, weedy, hard pan fairways. The bunkers are still mostly unplayable. The added sand has washed away. EDIT 3, 2021 UPDATE: Management has changed at Augustine and it seems as though the course is headed in the right direction. The fairways are returning, there…

Friend of mine told me to try Augustine Golf Course again bcoz it’s in a very good shape. Yes, it was in a great shape. Fairways and Greens were awesome. Great job by new head pro and his staff. I’m glad I went back. Very friendly Head pro. Whoever had stopped going there due to bad condition of the course I suggest you give another try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Fore!! ⛳️
