In summary

Gloucester Country Club is frequently praised for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for beginners and families. The course is considered affordable and offers a forgiving layout, with a convenient location and accommodating staff. However, some visitors have noted issues with the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens and bunkers, and the club's cash-only policy can be inconvenient.

Gloucester Country Club is perfect if you want to golf but don't want to be around a bunch of golf snobs. They do not have a rigid dress code, they are inexpensive and the staff are all friendly. They are also very family-friendly. Their biggest downfall is that they only accept cash, but there is an atm at the shopping center around the corner. This is a great place to golf if you are just learning.

Wonderful course for beginners or for golfers who are looking to work on ball striking. Greens are very small and bumpy, unlike many courses I've played, not in a good way.. But all and all, very affordable. Green Fee covers as many holes as you would like to play, its a 9 hole course. (FYI: I learned how to play on this course and also played high school golf here.)

I have played this course more than a few times. Conveniently located, and a nice layout. The proprietors are friendly. It is a 9 holes with 2 laps for 18.

They have raised the rates and I haven't seen any reinvestment into the course. The greens are rock hard and need work. The bunkers have little to no sand. The place really needs to close for a year and get their act together. When a 56° wedge bounces four feet into the air off a green, there's a problem.
