In summary

Goshen Plantation Golf Club is often praised for its challenging and well-designed layout, featuring multi-tiered greens and tight fairways that offer a rewarding experience for golfers. The staff is frequently described as friendly and welcoming, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, several visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens, cart paths, and water availability on the course, suggesting that maintenance improvements are needed. Pricing and additional charges for non-golfing riders have also been points of contention for some guests.

I felt like I was at the beach. Sand on every putting green. Looks like they are trying to improve the shape of the greens but it is not top notch at the moment. The back 9 are in better shape than the front. The course is very challenging. The people are very nice. Prices are cheaper after 1pm. Only $20 for ladies. I will play again.

Horrible greens and stagnant warm water in coolers. I could forgive the course conditions for 2 things: 1. If it was cheaper (more than $30 is a ripoff), and 2. If they have FRESH, cold water in the coolers. That is more of a safety issue. Pretty sure the water I drank was from the day before, or maybe even older. Layout is great, so it's sad to see the course neglected this way.

Had a 4 some booked for 8am tee time 3 players 1 rider just a friend that couldn't play due to injury just wanted to hang out. Before entering the pro shop to check in at 7 and grab some range balls I found a single air pod pro in the parking lot took it in to the lady working the counter and said I found this in the parking lot she said im not touching that I asked for a bag to put it in and was told go put it in the basket im not touching that with a 10 foot pole so I put it in a basket with all the head covers she definitely didn't have a problem touching our cash told her we had one rider…

I would never recommend this place to anyone, there are so many more courses close by and in better shape and for a cheaper price …. Me and my buddies went today figured we would try something new,my 2 buddies rode on a cart together and I was with my 5 year old daughter. They are kinda pricey to me, it was 54 dollars for 18 with a cart but that’s there price so whatever, it is what it is, so I paid it I had my 5 year old daughter with me while I was paying and the woman working the counter said you have a rider I was like yeah I had to bring my daughter she doesn’t golf because she is to youn…

Played here for the first time on 7/27/2024. Pro Shop staff was very friendly and welcoming. After my round I let them know about what appeared to be a rabid possum next to hole 16’s green. They we very thankful and sent out a message to other golfers via GPS carts so they could be careful! The course was in good condition considering the extreme heat we had. Challenging but enjoyable. Greens were in good shape and the multi tiered greens added an extra level of difficulty. Great course layout. Will definitely be coming back.

Has went down since last year. Greens weren't good and computer on cart didn't work. Definitely ain't worth 54.00 dollars on a Saturday. We were the 2some with 300 tee time Saturday. We had cart no#39. Computer was stuck on hole 12. We tried starting on other holes, but Computer kept staying on hole 12. Just wanted to clarify because owner had questioned my presence at course that day in email.

Played this course on 7/4/24. The clubhouse staff were all great! The course has a great layout but is in need of some love with things like cart path repairs and sandtrap maintenance. There is no water on the course, so bring a gallon of your own! As far as golf is concerned, this course will challenge you with its multi-tiered greens and tight fairways with multiple left and right doglegs throughout. Several 200+ yard Par-3s when played from the blues. I'll be back, but not during the summer 🥵

Goshen is an incredibly fun and challenging course. It is well maintained, and the pro shop has always been warm and welcoming. Anytime I am in town, I go play Goshen.

First off, I want to be honest. Is this the best golf course I've ever played? No. But I can visibly SEE the improvement the course is getting in the past years. I've spoken with the owner, Spike (who by the way is an AMAZING! Coach), and he told me all the things they are doing to improve the shape of the course which is awesome! The course is long, and challenging, which for me is a plus because I am a very competitive person. The staff are so nice and buddy (their dog/mascot) is a great plus. I take lessons here and have improved SO MUCH so fast. I have become a member here and hope to cont…

Course is well designed. Both fun and challenging. Upkeep on the course is lacking, but not so much that it isn't enjoyable. Lots of places where the cart path is so damaged that you have to drive around it. My hope is that the course gets enough people playing it to generate the revenue to make the appropriate repairs and turn it into the destination course that it should be. Update to address the response from the owner. "First of All"... What an indignant way to reply to a customer trying to give an honest review. I have actually played the course twice. I came back recently, it had been a…

Overpriced for the condition of the course. I recommend paying the extra for Forest Hills or the River Club. The golf cart we received was acting up the whole round and would not go faster than two miles per hour. We played 7 holes, at a very slow pace, then tried to reset the GPS. This did not help! We stopped by the pro shop and asked if we could switch carts and explained the issue to the not so professional (rude) lady in the pro shop and she angrily started asking for fifty dollars due to us resetting the GPS; however, the GPS was working fine. She stated that is why the cart was so slow…

This golf course is returning to the glory it once had as a true hidden gem in the Augusta area. It's not quite a 5 star yet but if things keep going as they have been it will be by this summer. The owner/staff have been working on course conditions so the greens are near perfect and the fairways are getting better by the day. Ignore any reviews more than a year old and give it a try.... plus it has the best course layout in the area!
