In summary

Green Meadows of Augusta has a short course with a good layout that some find reasonably priced. However, there are significant concerns about the course's condition, with reports of poorly maintained fairways and greens. The future of the course is uncertain, with some indicating it may reopen soon, while others suggest it may not be revived.

Honestly, this is the worst course I’ve ever played in my 40 years golfing. Fairways are virtually none existent. Greens are very mangy with lots of broad blade grass invading. The mowed grass off the “fairway” was extremely long. I can only imagine how long they must’ve let it get before they cut it. $31 for my son and I to ride 9 holes. Certainly glad we only opted for 9.

Greenmeadows golf course is no more. The owners have no interest in reopening the course. It opened up in the late 50's, and that was three generations ago. Running a golf course is costly and a lot of hard work. Sometimes they just loose interest and move on to other things.

I remember golfing here as a teenager, it was incredible. I enjoyed the course, but there was this one guy who rubbed off on me wrong.
