In summary

Pointe South Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, affordable pricing, and friendly staff, with many noting the course's well-maintained greens. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding the condition of the fairways, cart paths, and occasional issues with overbooking and slow pace of play. Some visitors have also expressed dissatisfaction with customer service and the handling of tee times.

Great golf course. Played Sunday. Pace of Play was great. Greens are on excellent condition. Fairway ok. Could need on some spots more maintenance. Layout absolutely great, and sometimes challenging to play. Price on golf now is great for this Place. Overall we had a great round and a lot of fun!

The pro shop allowed a group of 5 to start on #10 and when I called to complain, the man inside said that I should be the one to approach the group. I didn’t know that I was now a paid employee of Point South and should do their job. I was also charged a full 9 hole price when I had a rain check from a previous round that I paid full price of $30 for a round. So I am penalized for weather as well. I do not recommend this course anymore as it is obviously not well run.

I had a great time on Saturday. I really enjoyed the course layout. The greens and pin placements were challenging. The course was in great condition, well maintained, and at a fair price. I will be back soon. We played here again yesterday. Finally played the full 18. They shortened 15 from a par 5 to a par 4. Not on the score card yet. At 40$ for 18. This was a good value.

Great deal on golf moose $40 for 2, 18 holes and cart. As for course greens great condition a little fast to what I am use to, fairways have a lot of sandy soil not the best, but not bad, bunkers are good. Course layout, beware front hidden water traps on 2nd shot, on the first par 5. The back nine has a tricky layout short holes, but difficult to play. Normal rates $45 weekend, $30 Mon to Thur and $35 Friday. Overall, good value for the price, but its no country club

I really like this course. It's an easy layout and forgiving. A lot of corses in this area get very wet during this time of year, but pointe south was dry. The staff is very friendly as well. I made one of the best putts I have ever made.

Absolutely SUCKS. Tee boxes have barely any grass. Greens are okay... Cart paths are a disaster. Applewood is a far better course and cheaper. Just make your way 15 min further and save yourself the trouble!

Played here on a Tuesday late morning. Played 18 holes in just under 5 hours. Course condition was fair, not great but not bad. Layout is tight with tees, greens and fairways in close proximity. Golfer etiquette was not the best. Saw groups driving carts on the green complex and on fairways clearly marked cart path only. Pace of play was VERY slow. No Marshall’s or starter. Had two foursomes and a single ahead of our twosome. Had to wait 20 minutes after our tee time to get off the first tee. The lead foursome didn’t wave anyone through despite having more than two holes open in front througho…

Course in excellent condition. My only complaint is they took my green fee for 18 holes at 4:15pm and a cart person found us on #12 at 7:10 pm and told us he was locking the gate at 7:30pm. I would have liked to been told that so I could save $$$. I would have played 9 instead. I feel like a heads up is in order or a rain check for 9 holes. I was NOT playing slow.

Fairways are terrible; bare spots, erosion this grass, but too high like rough! Greens were nice but very slow.

I used to love this course, a couple of years back, but this time was different. Went to go play on a beautiful Sunday. My boyfriend and I were running a few minutes late to our tee time (12:45pm), so I called and the front desk guy was super nice about it. Arrived (12:47pm) and finally teed off at 1:15pm. No biggie, it’s busy. For two people and a shared cart, it was $80 (18 holes) That part is a little ridiculous when some tee boxes were just sand, most fairways were dirt, and the cart paths were broken and rooted. We had to stop on the back nine, because it was getting bad, and VERY backed…
