Do yourself a favor. Grab your clubs and get out to Hillandale golf course. This place was fun, in really good shape and it’s only going to get better. The greens were solid. The fairways and tee boxes were fine. The bunkers were in great shape. This is just a truly fun place to take golfers of all levels. If your a low handicap. It is a great place to practice yardages and hit other clubs off the tees. Or just bomb it down the fairway. Hillandale is as good as it gets. Approachable for all (both in price and environment), great food at the grill, a challenging course they keep in great shape and some truly wonderful folks who run it all. If you're looking for a place to play, this is it!

I regularly had the pleasure of playing a round at Hillandale, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The hospitality began the moment I walked into the clubhouse, where the staff is always incredibly kind and makes the check-in process feel like a warm welcome rather than just a transaction. Hillandale is a consistently well-maintained course with a great layout that’s enjoyable for all skill levels. I play there almost every week multiple times a week, and greens are in excellent condition, and the staff is always professional and welcoming. Pace of play is solid, and the overall experience is exactly what you want for a good round of golf. A great local course that I’m always happy to return to.

Come here all the time. Best price you can get in the Triangle area for good golf. All around the people here are unbelievable and make it a great time. Front 9 is slow but consistently finish around 4:15-4:30. Highly recommend

Other than, the remodel on driving ranch, and the grill was down and the computwr was down for the internet. Nice peopke behind cou ter , the pins where alittle dead. But over all corse for the price was nice . Wpuld gpbagain.

Hillandale is a golf purists dream. It is the type of place where you find scratch players playing right along side 25 handicappers and having a blast doing it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place feels like a golf community. For those saying the rangers are rude, people who keep pace and don't act foolish won't have the rangers give them a hard time. John, Chris, Scott, Bill, and Mike are all good guys who keep the first tee clear and the course moving. More places like Hillandale, please.

Love this course! The clubhouse staff is so welcoming and courteous, and the starters are top notch. Can’t wait for the renovations to both the driving range and short game area, along with a brand new practice green!

I’ve been to this course twice now, both with a couple of friends who have joined me in learning golf! We are beginners, but enjoy playing and getting better. However, I’m convinced this course is not interested in beginners learning here. Each time I’ve come, we are interrupted by a ranger with an attitude problem who tells us we are too slow. The players behind us later told us they did not have a problem with our speed and thought we were fine. We were following the “pace of play” rules posted in the cart, but evidently there is no satisfying the rangers here. It leaves players feeling rush…

Fairly short layout but great value. Greens are about as good as you’ll find at a public course. Naturally it can get a little crowded.

Incredible value. Course condition, staff, pro shop, grill, all top notch for an unbeatable price. First time, felt welcomed and had a great round. We'll be back.
