Beautiful picturesque course. Tree lined fairways but not too tight. Excellent pace of play. We'll maintained. Nice soft bunkers. Pro shop has great selection with top brands. Well run course with nice staff.

Traveled 5 hours to see family and wanted to play a round of golf. Played here on Aug 8th 2025 and the course is beyond beautiful. The greens were immaculate and driving fairways were very rewarding due to the amazing shape. Gerald the starter was extremely nice and friendly! Unlike some starters , Gerald seems like he takes pride in what he does and makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Even though it had rained for 3 days straight before hand this is one of the nicest courses I have personally played.

Walked dogs on Al Buehler Trail on a gorgeous fall day. The 3 mile loop is challenging with hills & very scenic. Dogs enjoyed it as well.😊

Course conditions were nearly perfect. Strongly recommended! The greens roll fast and smooth. The layout through the forest was challenging but fair. I only recall one forced cary of any significance and that was on a short par-3 over water. Some local knowledge will help on tee shots with a few blind landing areas.

The Washington Duke Inn and golf course is a family favorite and has been for years. Classic and beautiful Inn that is a joy to stay at; food that is beautifully prepared and so tasty it’s nearly a sin to enjoy. On this weekend we were there as a part of a visit to Duke clinics but this is the way to rest and recreate. We enjoyed the invitational collegiate Golf Tournament that was played. We love the Bull Durham bar which also provides great food along with a wide variety of beverages. The campus of Duke is just beautiful and worth an early morning walk.

Auto Shop Owners Group hosted a buffet dinner here. The facility is clean, and impressive. The banquet hall we used was plenty large enough for our group of 100, the staff was attentive, and the food was surprisingly good for buffet style food. Copy/paste from the other country club we used last year. Great consistency raleigh

The Greens were very nice, fast and smooth. We enjoyed the course and look forward to coming back soon. I hated the GPS on the Carts because they would shut off without warning and would backup very slow..

Excellent abyaunce.. Food was not that good. Ordered the pork belly appetizer. Five pieces of fried bacon. Fish was next to raw and cool inside. Service was just OK.

I love this course even though it is a tough track. Greens are fast and shot placement is critical. Definitely worth the trip.

Great course - very well maintained. Nice amenities, club house, golf carts, and driving range. The price for the round was in line with expectations. The course is surrounded by a forest of trees, giving the feeling of escaping everything, yet not far from anything. Great overall impression and experience.
