In summary

Landa Park Municipal Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful setting with abundant wildlife, and friendly, attentive staff. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable layout, and the amenities, including well-kept carts and a stocked pro shop, enhance the overall experience. However, many visitors express frustration with the difficulty of securing tee times, citing high demand and concerns about the booking process.

Great staff, impeccably maintained golf course and extremely well managed by staff, superintendent/maintenance staff and the city of New Braunfels. The greens are always in excellent shape. The maintenance staff ensure the bunkers are well kept, and the fairways are well defined. The bunkers are tough. The pro shop staff have a great handle on managing the traffic and ensure they maximize the profit for the City. Pro shop is well stocked and they provide great repair services with a reasonable turn-around time. Tournaments and daily groups are managed effectively. Carts are kept in great servi…

Pound for pound one of the best spots in South Texas. An unbeatable value for a grade-A golf course. Great conditions, risk-reward layout with plenty of getable holes, and a wonderful staff to pair. Stop in and see Chris in the shop and Head Pro Quint, they do a great job keeping that place running smoothly. Can’t wait to come back!

I really like this course, it’s beautiful, affordable, and playing with deer walking around the fairways is honestly a vibe. But man, the beverage cart service sucks. I’ve played here over 10 times and never once seen it on the course. You can even call the clubhouse and they still don’t sort it out. So don’t count on it, just grab your drinks at the clubhouse before teeing off.

This is definitely a 5 star golf course. However, I limited this review to 4 stars....for one simple reason, it's too dang hard to get a tee time. It is hands down, the most consistently well-maintained municipal course in this area. I played it yesterday and it did not disappoint; it's in great shape..... fairways, greens and tee boxes are all looking plush. For as busy as it usually is... even the pace of play was good yesterday......and the marshal was actually out there "marshalling," and the deer was "deering." Landa is an awesome track with a friendly and accommodating staff (club house,…

Fun course and a fantastic experience! The staff was warm, professional, and truly attentive. Cy and Chris went above and beyond every step of the way. The course is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with deer and ducks lining the fairways. Pace of play was smooth, and the cart service was outstanding. She was there every time we looked up! Quint, thank you for hosting us. We truly appreciate it and look forward to coming back. VGA San Antonio

Landa Park Golf Course seriously needs to address what’s going on with their morning tee times before it turns into a much bigger issue. For a public golf course, it should not be virtually impossible for normal paying customers to ever book an early morning tee time. The amount of people complaining online about the exact same thing is honestly alarming. People sit there refreshing the second tee times open and somehow the prime spots are already gone almost instantly every single time. At some point, it stops looking like “high demand” and starts looking like favoritism, insider access, or…

A thesis in mediocrity. The course is well maintained and particularly nice for being in such a dry area and in an extended drought. The carts we clean and mostly well maintained. The staff inside were snippy, and it was as if we had offended them by playing golf. Some odd course rules where we had to have two bags per cart even if they weren't being used. So we rented an empty bag and we rented a set of ladies clubs (no ladies in our group) to tote along. With the rules complied to now we had a bag per person, even if they were for kids who were mostly riding along and played a combined 12 h…

This course is beautiful! The whole course was in great shape. One hole had some construction going on. We will be coming back! The wildlife is awesome and the carts were pretty cool with gps, phone Bluetooth for music and you can keep score.

Golf course is nice But the problem is trying to get a tee time for a municipal course. They oversold their memberships so now it’s beyond crowded and trying to book a week or two out, you can still only get a 2pm or later tee time, and they expect you to pay full price but you can’t even get a full round in. It use to be a fun course and easy to get on to, but you would be better off going to San Antonio.

For the value, best golf course I have played on. Fairways are in great condition and the greens are top notch. Only con is that it is really difficult to get a decent tee time.
