In summary

Randolph Oaks Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained conditions, friendly staff, and unique setting on a military base, providing a distinctive atmosphere with views of aircraft. Many appreciate the course's reasonable pricing and challenging layout, which includes well-kept greens and fairways. However, some visitors have noted issues with the booking process, availability of golf carts, and occasional slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Randolph! The course is beautifully maintained, the staff is incredibly friendly, and every hole offered a fun and challenging experience. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning views throughout the course. It was the perfect day for us to relax, play some golf, and enjoy each other’s company. We can’t wait to come back and make this a regular outing!

The course was in excellent condition and one of the guys that picked up with us said it is usually better. I have zero complaints about this course. The staff in the clubhouse was very friendly and helpful. The greens and fairways were very nice. I could have done with less wind but they claim the government "can't control the weather" ooookay. 😉😅 All in all a superb value for the dollars paid!

Heard great things about this course but after my experience with the booking process, I will not be playing here. GolfNow tee times apparently don’t mean anything as the pro shop staff I spoke to told me the tee time that was available on GolfNow wasn’t available at the course. He suggested walking on at 1pm with their twilight rate and waiting in line. When I asked how long the wait is he just said it’s anywhere from 0 to 40-60 people in line. I followed up with a simple question and was told I was asking too many questions. My suggestion is to make it more clear on the website for civilians…

This golf course is by far the best of all three military golf courses we have here in JBSA. You can tell they try to keep up with the maintenance of the greens, fairways, bunkers, and rough areas. They try to get you in when you do show up with reservation.

Always cool to be on base! Great staff in the golf shop and great people to golf with! Randolph is usually in great shape and I love the layout!

No carts were available due to an event, they told us we had to wait at least 2 hours after our tee time. So we had to walk 18, course was not in great shape.

Great fun course in San Antonio. The course is in decent shape. You can get an Air Show while you golf. A little loud at time when the jets are taking off. Staff is pleasant.

The golf course was amazing. I love watching the trainers taking off during my round. Fifty two years in aircraft maintenance, I can't get enough.

I played yesterday. First time playing the course. Was in decent shape and very forgiving. One downfall is the putting greens. They are in pretty bad condition. You are putting through weeds and theres not really any grass on them.

This is a good course with a nice pro shop and dining area. I took my eldest son recently and was able to play for under $30 with a cart for both of us. The base is a little hard to navigate if coming in from main entrance so I suggest the back gate whenever possible as it’s right next to the course. We enjoyed our time and the course has a nice layout with the flight line far enough to not be a problem but close enough to see some planes take off and approach giving the atmosphere a unique quality. Staff is very friendly and the pro shop is impressive for a military course, it’s bigger and ha…
