Played Willow Springs Golf Course and had a great experience. This was my first time playing this San Antonio golf course, and I really enjoyed it. The course was well maintained and the greens were very fast, which made it fun and challenging. Overall, it was a great day of golf and a solid course in the San Antonio area. I'd definitely come back and play again.

We had a fantastic time playing at Willow. I heard the course underwent some changes and all the sand traps were removed, but it didn’t take away from the great experience we enjoyed. Excellent course, wonderful staff, and an all-around memorable day.

Great layout, for January the course is in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were good.

Willow I am so excited you are back! The renovation did wonders to the course. Played this month October 2025 and I was impressed with the fairways and greens.

Willow Springs Golf Course did a fantastic job hosting the VGA tournament. Special kudos to David, Assistant Manager, for his professionalism and attention to detail in ensuring a smooth event. The staff was welcoming and efficient, the course was in excellent condition, and Bill on the grill delivered great food with outstanding service. We truly appreciate the hospitality and look forward to returning.

Played it today 10/22/25 for the first time, course was in very nice condition tee to green. Large greens, wide fairways with just enough trees and potential water hazards. Had an off day but enjoyed the round, the only minor issue was the carts went dead a couple times as we searched for balls off the fairway apparently slightly to far into nothing but rough. Otherwise a great place to play an enjoyable round of golf. Thank you Phil Ornelaz

Course is in terrible shape. It's sad to see a course by Alamo Golf Trails with unlimited funds be run to the ground like this. No excuses for it to be this bad. Small out of town courses with a fraction of the income are in better shape. Update- played June 2023 and course is in much better shape. City courses still struggling with green conditions though. Overall I enjoyed playing this course.

I have always enjoyed this course. The greens were very fast and the wind here is challenging, but if you like golf, you'll love this course. The front 9 are very challenging. The back 9 look simpke but you'll find the more difficult then they seem.

Played 18 on Saturday. Rodeo crowd by the thousands. Parking crazy… but the course was great. Open, never a wait, pace was fantastic. Paired with a great couple. It was a very good round thanks

First, the positive. Desk staff was friendly and polite. Took 4 hours to play. Having said that, the course was in terrible shape. I have played MANY municipal / public courses over the years and this was probably THE WORSE conditions I have ever seen. The city of San Antonio should have more pride in its public courses and who ever manages the Alamo City Golf should not have their contract renewed. It can and should be MUCH better

Right across the street from Frost Bank Center. Overall I think it's a little challenging with all the dog legs. Hike #2 is damn near a creation shaped but at 670 ish yards from white tees. There is some water hazards, mostly creeks and all the bunkers were full of grass. I'd recommend going for sure if nothing else to smack the hell out of the ball with a majority or their fairways being very long. I'll go back later after I get better with my clubs.

They just redid the course its stunning to say the least. First time playing here. Marshall's were a little pushy got told 4x to pick up pace when the players ahead were holding us back. But other than that the course was beautiful and they have alot of shade on the cart paths . No driving range though hopefully in the future they'll add one
