The Quarry Golf Club

Wow! This course is out of this world!!! The Quarry is well maintained on all aspects of the grounds. Dawn, the Marshal, was an absolute delight. The service from the staff was beyond friendly. I have played many golf courses. The Quarry has been a fabulous and unforgettable experience.

This has been one of the best and beautiful golf course in San Antonio, period! The course is not just gorgeous but so well maintained that you feel like you’re playing golf in the Caribbean or something! The range is also very nice with plenty of practice balls to get you warm up, quick! There are a few things that I highly recommend and I must say The Quarry Golf Course is one of it! Highly recommended!

By far the best course i have been to for the price. The scenery is amazing and the course is pretty challenging on the back 9.

8 Mar 2026... a very sprinkley 18 hole session. The range was closed but understandable as it had been raining until 2 pm that day. There was a 90-degree rule; only a few holes were cart path only, and the greens were very well kept. Pace of play was no problem at all, didn't feel rushed, and never really caught up to the group in front of us either. We were on the last three holes and got called in due to the storm overhead. We waited about 15 mins thinking they were going to close the course, but instead let us play through a little sprinkle to end our session. Really appreciate the crew let…

I don’t golf but my husband recently took up the hobby. We were in town for SeaWorld and husband wanted to experience Quarry. My daughter & I accompanied him into the clubhouse for some brunch and I was blown away by the beauty of the course; the back 9 and actual quarry structure is the view from the dining area. The food was delicious and service very prompt, servers genuinely kind. Staff in the pro shop were very helpful as well. Husband was impressed with the quality of the course and attention to detail such as placing his name on the cart. Even as a non-golfer, I can tell that Quarry abs…

Played this course with a buddy of mine and the guy we played with described the back 9 as a “religious” experience…. And after playing it he was 100% right. Front is very good but the back 9 alone makes it one of the best golfing experiences you can have in south texas. Staff is great and clearly wants to match the beauty of the course with their kindness, shoutout to Dawn specifically. Also the small details are great. Ordered a PB banana sandwich called The Tiger and it had a picture of TW on it. And the custom water bottle in the carts…. Perfect. Will be back

We loved The Quarry Golf Course! The course was in great shape and the practice facilities were nice. The front nine was nice, but the back nine was exceptional! It is unique playing the full back nine inside of an old quarry. Lots of scenic holes that can be quite tricky. The views from the back nine can’t be beat! The golf carts are nice and so is the clubhouse. All the staff were friendly and helpful. If we are back in San Antonio, we will play this course again.

One of the Must Play tracks in the Texas HillCountry … unique track built out of an old quarry great facility, multiple tees for all skill levels, a wonderful restaurant, great course, and top notch staff.

By far the BEST golf course I have played in, in Texas, if you visit and are deciding between this or Canyon springs. Definitely don’t think twice and come to the Quarry!!! The greens are in great condition and the course itself and practice stations are in great condition. Don’t hesitate to visit this course if you have the chance!

Fun course with great atmosphere. Front nine will melt you on a hot afternoon so hope for starting on the back if your tee time is later than 11am. Only 4 stars because the greens were badly ovet-aerated when we played (may have been just completed).

Great, unique layout with the back nine literally carved out of the quarry. Very picturesque. Fair layout with some opportunities for aggressive players. Very friendly staff and a nice selection of merch in the pro shop. A must-visit when in San Antonio!
