In summary

Wind Crest Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, affordable pricing, and suitability for golfers of all levels, particularly those looking to practice or enjoy a casual round. The course features a mature layout with tree-lined fairways and a nostalgic clubhouse atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted that the course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, could benefit from improvements, as they are often described as dry or patchy. Despite these challenges, the club remains a popular choice for its community involvement and overall value.

Rita at the front desk/pro shop is super nice. Helpful and friendly. The course is challenging and fun especially for newbie like us. We enjoy playing there and the price is reasonable with a cart for easy play. I’d like to see the greens a little greener but it’s a private course so I understand the ability to keep it up could be challenging with the current economy. Overall we enjoy playing here and having fun learning the game and practicing our game. If you get a chance give them a go and have some fun

I like this place. The cost is only $31 and includes the cart fee. They have a great chipping and putt practice area. There are also drinks inside and a nice place to sit with others.

I'm an out of state person in town for work & looking to find a laid back decent course or few to play a few rounds on while in town, but all that to say the course could definitely use a lot more water, the people/staff are very nice & were helpful, but the conditions were not up to even my local municipal courses in OK. The fairways and greens are dry, patchy, and need an overhaul with a caring touch. Overall not worth the $ spent & won't come back to play again before leaving. The course, especially the par 3's have potential, just needs more resources.

Fantastic little golf course at a great price. Yes, the price is a reflection of the quality - but the price is right (I can walk 9 holes 2x and it’s only $18 that way)! Come here to learn, play, and practice! Tournaments on Saturday are an option to test your group against another too! The clubhouse itself is a bit of a dive, clearly was built on the cheap in the 60s/70s and has had just about zero updates since then. Nobody smokes indoors in public anymore but the clubhouse is a reminder that they used to.

First time here. For prestigious Windcrest, I was expecting better. So from the beginning. Nice staff, plenty of parking. Older, smaller golf carts. No driving range or hitting net so come loose and ready. Good sized putting green. It's a 9 hole course with 4 sets of tee markers to chose from. Lots and lots of tree lined fairways call for straight tee shots. Once in the fairways, you're lucky to find and grass to hit off of. Hard packed, grassless fairways makes it hard to hit under the ball. Greens were in good condition and ran true and smooth. After round burger and fries in snack bar was v…

This is a wonderful facility suitable for any level of golfer! The greens are very tough so precision is paramount. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Just a great experience!!

Great place to go and play 9 holes. It's perfect for practice or if you're getting back into the game. The staff is nice and and an absolute joy to chat with after finishing up. The course could use some work, but the prices aren't too expensive so it evens out. Plus they give back to the community by hosting weekly tournaments and participating in programs to encourage young golfers, so what's not to love!

If you’re looking for a nice relaxing time with the fellas hitting some golf balls look no further. This place was five stars all around. Great time, great atmosphere, great people.

Fairways in decent shape, but greens have a little ways to go. To be honest, they should consider artificial greens. I don’t think the city has the resources nor money to bring the greens back to the glory days. Overall, still a fun little course to sneak in 9 or even 18. Great course to walk.

Only 3 stars because of the price. Honestly it’s like $15-18 during the week to be able to play a 9-hole course with 6 holes that you can pull out a driver on. The fairways are non-existent, it’s all dirt. The greens are some of the worst. Really only a good value to just walk a quick and cheap round.
