The most interesting course that I have played in Texas! I played an afternoon round at Olympia Hills, starting at 2:20 and finished by 5:35, an under 4 hour round at a bargain price. The layout is excellent, It is not pancake flat like a lot in East Texas and the undulating course makes it much more enjoyable. The layout seems to be the holes are never uphill, the uphill sections are driven in the cart! Greens and tee boxes are great, fairways are good with a few bare patches. I treated these as GUR so it did not detract from my round. I will be back next time I am in San Antonio area.

Just got into golf.... like two weeks ago. Had no idea what i was doing or even why. People in the proshop were very helpful, they had a tee time available so I loaded up the cart; which was included in the price, and drove around lost. Luckily they had a guy out there directing traffic per se. He set me up with a group of 3 and explain to them that it was my first time stepping on a golf course. They said come on, so we went. Maybe it was because it was my first, but damn everything was so pretty and clean. Even the deer, which don't move, looked freshely bathed lol. It had just rained the da…

I can't speak highly enough about this course. The play was fun, but the people running it are better. Sal and Bonnie Sue helped me out of a silly pickle I put myself in - and they didn't hesitate to do it. Appreciate these folks and think by their hospitality alone Olympia Hills deserves a trip!

It was my wife and my first time playing here, and it was great! Even though it rained the whole time, the course was fun, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Fairways were nice, and the greens are well-kept. Definitely Challenging but we look forward to coming back!

This course honestly has some really cool holes. Driving range is one of my favorite to go to, they have a nice chipping green you can set up like 60YD from and practice those short approaches. The course itself is pretty challenging in the sense that the fairways are all sloped, but that adds to the beauty of the track. Hole 5, 8, 11 definitely are some of the coolest holes I’ve played in the city. Super drastic elevation changes on those holes.

Tough course played in some crazy conditions. Greens could use some love but the staff was amazing. Deer all up and down the course it's a must play in SA.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with several vendors on a photoshoot hosted by this beautiful venue. Mia the manger was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I look forward to working with everyone and Olympia Hills in the future. Attached you will you find a video that captures the event and the list of vendors.

The Olympia Hills Golf Course Conference room was perfect for a meeting. The room was large, well lighted, and very clean. Being there was a meeting and a speaker, the room was very adequate as it was quiet to listen well. I recommend the conference center for meetings.

Absolutely insane that they would not let golfers know ahead of time that they are doing full on EXCAVATION work on 2 holes!! Extremely loud equipment. Having to wait on workers. Hazards every where. Still had to pay full price. Beyond unprofessional.

Staff is nice but the greens were horrible. I don't know what they did to that new grass they had but it was cut super short and was almost down to bare dirt. The fairways were short too. Hit the ball on the right side of #2 fairway and it rolled all the way to the left side of the fairway. No grass to slow it down. I don't understand why they mowed it so short on such a beautiful turf. Reminds me what Riverside did and screwed that new course up. Hopefully it will come back to what it was. Food is always good so there's that.

I can not express how amazing Olympia Hills and their staff is. I was so lucky to have found them for my wedding. The grounds are beautiful and set the back drop perfectly for a picture perfect ceremony! Katie and Mallory are so professional and devoted to ensuring your day goes without a hitch. It truly was the happiest day of my life. And bonus; The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. My guest still ask me about the stuff mushrooms! Don't hesitate to book your dream wedding today!!!

We live in the area and moved here because we love this course. The staff is great and have been making continual improvements in the course (i.e., improved drainage, clearing of rough areas, new tee boxes, new cafe furniture, more pro shop merchandise) fairways have grass, but currently they are having issues with greens. They know it and are working on it. This is a great, challenging track. Our ladies groups really enjoy the challenge. The greens have been replaced and the construction on holes 8 & 9 is complete. I played it yesterday for the first time in a few months. It is in GREAT shap…
