In summary

Laurel Island Links is appreciated for its scenic layout, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both golfers and event hosts. The course offers a unique setting with interesting holes, particularly those through the marshlands, and is part of the Harvest Host RV network, which guests find convenient. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and bunkers, as well as additional fees for out-of-state players, which have affected their overall experience.

Tried to play 9 with a cart yesterday, walked in the clubhouse at 3:32. Was told there’s no carts available because they stop giving out carts at 3:30. 3 hours left of sunlight, just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Walked outside, booked a tee time for an HOUR LATER down the road at Trident for 4:30, played 9 holes with a cart EASILY. Just moved up here, this place used to be great. Clearly those days are gone…. care nothing about business or customer service. Ill never come back and make sure our finding group spends money where its actually appreciated.

The tee box’s and fairways are in decent shape, fun lay out, carts are a bit old but still work well, no tees or towels in the carts, at $60 you should at least provide tees. Range is in okay shape, you get to hit off grass which is nice. The club house is nice, and the staff was friendly. The course was wide open probably due to the horrible greens see blow, but nice pace of play. The greens and bunkers are in horrible shape, they have some type of fungus on the greens and you end up putting in mud. The bunkers have weeds growing in them and the sand is super hard and compacted. The cou…

Course is fine. Played New Year’s Day. Found out that they require identification to show you live in Georgia. Not from Georgia you are charged $10. This is a stupid decision as my foursome played here three or four times a month. Until they drop this charge we won’t be back.

A hidden gem. Scenic course and usually maintained well for a fair price. The greens are on a decline as of late. There are plenty of tee times available every weekend. The cart path has been regraded in some spots but could improve. The range balls are terrible. There is a specific member that drives up to the greens every time I’m out there and they don’t seem to do much about it. Update: The guy that drives on the greens is back in action. New pics from 11/12.

Laurel Island review I want to thank Ricky, Danielle, and the whole staff at Bogeys Laurel Island. You made our July 8, 2023 wedding & reception one of the most memorable days for us. You had everything set up and ready for our special day beautifully. All our guests had the best time! The food was perfect and the champagne toast was just how we wanted it. I would recommend anyone wanting a special day to be perfect to do it at Laurel! Thank you, Tim & Tanya Shipley

We spent both Thursday and Sunday on the course and enjoyed it thoroughly. All of the staff was great including Bill in the pro shop, Dani behind the bar and our server for dinner on Sunday. The extra bonus was we discovered the course is a Harvest Host location. We brought our coach there on Sunday and spent the night in a peaceful area (vs a Walmart lot). We look forward to visiting again next time we travel from the chilly Chicago area.

We overnighted there as part of the Harvest Host RV route. We did eat in the Bar/Grill there and had a nice meal. The grounds were very nice, the Owner stopped by our table and greeted very kindly. We did not play Golf.

PLAYERS BEWARE! This golf course “enforces” an Out-of-State fee of $10. We were told if you live outside of GA, you pay an additional $10. This golf course is punishing you if you’re out of state to play. I HIGHLY advise go play other feasible, nice courses that appreciate your business and don’t penalize you because of it.

This course has a decent layout and friendly staff. The course itself is in serious need of attention and maintenance. The greens were terrible. I'd rather putt on a sheepskin rug. The areas around the bunkers had foot long grass in many patches. To charge $50 is criminal. With the current conditions, this is a $35 course at best. The lady at the desk was lovely and nice. I wish I could say the same about the course.

Course is in pretty good condition. A lot of house construction going on around it but I'm sure it'll look great once that's all completed

Deceiving and poorly managed. They are up-charging when you arrive, over booking, and not managing the pace of play. My group booked and confirmed online for $65 for Non-Georgia residents but when you get there they charged an extra $10 per person for non-resident…why not confirm for $75? Our Tee time was 9:38 but we weren’t able to tee off until 10:00 because they over booked. A total of 7 carts were waiting at the tee box and this continued the entire round. Ended up being a 5 hour round and waiting for 5+ minutes on every tee box and approach shot. The ranger that was driving around looked…

2-4 handicap. Walked the course for $16 on a Wednesday just a little after 4. Great pace of play until I got a little backed up on the last 4-5 holes. The layout of the course is cool. Great views on a few of the holes on the front. Shorter front 9 and longer back 9. While I was there I saw a deer, a snake, a rabbit, turtles and ducks, and an osprey that caught a huge catfish and dropped it near me. Fairways and tee boxes are great and the bunkers looked good although I did not hit out of them. There are water stations on the course in 2-3 locations to stay hydrated. That's all the good. The f…
