Had the opportunity to play Legacy 12/6/25. Course was a little beat up due to rain the previous day, but the course played true. It was obvious due to weather they hadn't been able to maintain the course as one would expect, so tee boxes were a little worn and soggy.

This course is an amazing course. It’s currently being renovated but is in amazing shape. The layout is fantastic, the conditions were amazing, the pace was great. Can’t say enough good things about it now, I can’t wait to see it a year from now. Such a great add on for the Talamore group!

Experience was SUB PAR to say the least. Would not recommend spending your money here. Did a trip with Talamore for their three courses and Legacy was by far the worst. Ignoring the fact that the entire course is under construction, greens were patchy and unkept, there wasn’t a beverage cart on a sunday, our cart dying mid-round, and their only options for restrooms were porta-potty’s (understandable as they are renovating the clubhouse) the entirety of the staff was abhorrently rude and distasteful. I left the course with a bad taste in my mouth by the way our group was treated. When we arriv…

5 hours and 45 minutes to play 18. 3 hours on the front alone. We were first off at 10:30 and they put two foursomes on #2 as part of shotgun start. It didn’t help it was COP and the group in front didn’t know how to manage themselves. No rangers. Would play again under better circumstances.

The course is in good shape and the greens were firm and pure. Pace of play was terrible my round was almost 5.5 hours on a 45 degree day. No rangers to be found the staff is not concerned with pace of play whatsoever.

Beautiful, playable course 20 minutes from Pinehurst courses. Must play if looking to add a more affordable round to your play list in the Pinehurst area. Super friendly staff and lodging packages available.

This course is really nice, the fairways and greens were in great shape and very interesting to play. The course marshals were very friendly and thoughtful. Only issues were clubhouse is under construction so temporary facilities aren’t very nice, and out in the course I found it weird there weren’t any garbage cans, not a big deal but strange. Good course to play, really pretty.

Course is in great shape. Pace of play was very good. Greens are firm and fast. Putting down hill requires just a tap to get it rolling. Played here on a Sunday and the only draw back was there was no cart girl. There was someone parked at the fork between 3 tees but they never moved, never made rounds. Maybe that’s normal for this place. Will definitely play this course again. It’s fantastic.

Nice Nicklaus design near Aberdeen. Great value if you play the twilight rate ($45 with a cart) guys in the pro shop were super nice and accommodating. Pace of play was good and finished in 3 hours. Recommend coming here 🙏🏼

The course itself is fine with some very picturesque holes. However, we were not prepared for the clubhouse being renovated, port-a-potties, a food truck, and very little organization. Won't go back until everything is completed.

Nice course but staff was trying treat us like cattle. Staff was very rude. I was told I needed to stay in line at the tee box even though it was 40 minutes before my tee time and was not allowed to hit the range.

I loved everything about this course including the staff!!! Everyone we came in contact with was super nice and helpful. The course was in beautiful shape and was fun to play. Will definitely be traveling back here one day. Thanks for a job well done!! The SE coastal courses in NC could learn a lot from all of the courses we played while staying in the region!
