In summary

Linville Land Harbor Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course set in a scenic mountain location, with a friendly and accommodating staff enhancing the overall experience. The course layout is noted for its challenging design, requiring strategic play with its narrow fairways and significant elevation changes. Some visitors mention the limited availability of food options during early play and the need for precision on the course, which may not be ideal for novice players.

Gorgeous, challenging course. You have to be strategic with where you land your balls, as most holes are short and hilly with plenty of dog legs. The friendliest staff we've encountered in our 10+ years of playing golf. Course is in perfect condition. Can't wait to play here again.

One of the nicest horses I have played. With the recent rains everything was Irish green and the greens were in spectacular shape. Just wish they had convenient food at the turn couldn't even get a hot dog within a quick amount of time. The manager was great and noticed my frustration and even offered to bring food out to whatever hole I was on!

Beautiful course and very well maintained. Front 9 is longer and wider, Back 9 is more narrow and features elevation. The Patio Grill serves up delicious food and beers, with a smile. Easy to book online and friendly pro shop. Highly recommend.

Played this place in late August of 2022. I’m a 4ish handicap and play quite a bit. Overall, very fun place to play, couple of specifics for those thinking of playing here: Great Things: Crazy Layout - I literally teed off with a wedge from the tips on a par 4. Greens - Very fast, very true, and very challenging greens. Staff - They handed me a yardage book, which was a lifesaver. No Place is Perfect Items: Fairways - Although in good shape, they were a tad long. Snack Shop - They have a vending machine, but we played early, and although their Patio restaurant is awesome, it wasn’t available…

The course is beautiful and the fairways were great. The greens are really smooth but very quick. Make sure you leave your approach shot below the flag.

Enjoyed the course. Not a 5-star premier location, but will be back and have recommended to my friends in the high country to check it out. Lots of trees and challenge. Decided to leave a variety of golf balls on several holes.

The course was in good shape and the greens were contoured and rolled well. Friendly course among lots of old resort homes. Give it a try.

5 stars! Played this course on a Saturday recently and loved it! Everything from the price, the beautiful course, and the staff all 5 ⭐. We drove up from Charlotte to get away from the crowded over priced courses and Linville Land Harbor Golf did not disappoint. I've been playing for over 20 years and this was truly one of the best golf experiences that I've had.
