Guests often commend the friendly and professional staff, as well as the variety of amenities available, including golf, spa services, and dining options. Owned and operated by the Linville Country Club. If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend it!

Absolutely unmatched in the refinement to the landscaping and architecture. However, the food and rooms aren't worth the $400+ a night. The food (dinner) is average and the rooms are dated and ordinary. The golf course was immaculate but I didn't play. The location is amazing and I would definitely visit in the late spring or late summer.

Any photographer would be happy to shoot at this classy and rustic venue, it is simply gorgeous!! If you're a bride or couple looking for a venue with a romantic lodge, it would be a great fit! There are plenty of areas on the grounds for beautiful portraits and great first-look options as well. As a wedding photography vendor that has experienced a variety of venues and what they have to offer - The Eseeloa Lodge was full of charm and character. The grounds or the Pavilion are great locations for an elegant ceremony and reception. It's a beautiful backdrop for any couple’s special day! Ca…

The Eseeola Lodge is a lovely, quaint, cozy feeling property with well manicured grounds. The breakfasts are delicious, but the dinner food is average and too expensive for the quality. Most of the staff is friendly, but Star at the front desk is very unprofessional and borderline rude. She is not welcoming or helpful to guests. It almost seemed like we were bothering her just being there. Not sure if we would return although it's a pretty place.

Was not quite the spa services I envisioned. You wait in a common area with other patrons. You are ushered to your service and upon completion, sent back to the common area. There was no meditation area, nor were patrons allowed to sit out by the pool. No food or beverage service. I did not like the loofah scrub my massage therapist used on my back during my massage. Left my back raw in certain areas.

Impeccable. Enjoyed our 26th wedding anniversary tonight at the final seafood buffet. Our tradition since having our reception there in '93. It's a truly special feeling and something you will always remember and long for a time to repeat. Our sincerest thanks to all who make it possible. We feel abundantly Blessed!

I have been two Eseeola Lodge twice, both times for weedding events. Both times the food and venue were fantastic; it's a very beautiful setting. I would love to spend some vacation time here but just haven't had the chance.

My rating is based on appearance only. It's a gorgeous property and would have loved to stay but room rates are for the very wealthy in my opinion. Lowest rate I saw was $350-$400 per night. It depends on season and package. It's a golf resort. Beautiful, but far too expensive for us to spend the night. We were passing through. It has a very grand, rich appearance & appeal.

The Eseeola Lodge is all about stately elegance. Although there are only a total of 24 rooms and suites, their level of service is impeccable. The rooms may not be as large as some of the national chains however they are very warm and inviting, and very well appointed. Resort guests can also enjoy other features of The Eseeola Lodge including the library, lounge, and bar, or wander around the numerous buildings that make up the property and take in the surrounding beauty of the grounds. On property, you’ll find a day camp for kids, which provides adults just enough time to indulge in a luxurio…

We were there for a cocktail hour and rehearsal dinner. The service, drinks, and passed appetizers were wonderful. At the dinner, the service was a bit slow and the fish and pork entrees were dry.
