Mountain Glen Golf Course

This is a fun course to play. Challenging and in good shape. The greens are fast and undulating, the sand traps have plenty of sand and the fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. If you’re going to get food at the turn, order it as you reach the 8th green. I will continue to play this course.

Played here for the first time today. Course was in great shape and challenging. Tee time was earlier so greens were wet and slower. When the sun came out the greens sped up in a hurry. Staff was friendly, pace of play was fast. Layout was very nice and had good variation. Enjoyable place to play. Had a discount coupon on their website so cost $60 per person, comparable for the area.

Played 7/29/24, dodged the rain and played by myself. The course was in great shape, beautiful scenery and everyone was very friendly.

The people in the pro shop dont seem to friendly. The lady behind the counter in the cafe was friendly. The food was good. The starter was a friendly man. Slow play. The 2 men in front of us was extremely slow and wouldn't wait to let us play thru. Course was in great shape. Didnt care too much for the layout of it. Feels like they squeezed the course together. But overall a nice course. Not worth $60 on a weekend to play.

Best course amazing scenery worn Appalachian charm! Do a father Son trip here is worth it. My dad and I would ride our Harleys here due to the winding roads and scenery

Great little mountain golf course, had a nice round,beautiful course, great fairways, greens are in fine shape...staff is very professional and accommodating...

Should be much more expensive than it is. Rare public track in the high country that has prime conditions even in colder season. Great classic Cobb layout

A beautiful and scenic golf course! All of the staff members were super nice, the course was beautifully maintained, and the clubhouse was super clean. My only complaint is that the first 3 holes or so are right beside the road, so if you have a bad slice be careful!

Sorry not to have better photos but for a public course it was very fun to play and alot of beautiful homes all around the course. Good water traps to make it challenging. All the staff was great and has very good food. Don't know what the normal charge was because I am staying at the RV park Down By The River and we get a discount rate.

Great course. Really nice greens. The views are great as is the challenging layout. We had a terrific time.

Only thing missing really are more organized events. An organized league would be great. All in all, a pretty enjoyable round of golf.

This is a great place to bring the family. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful and welcoming. The area is beautiful! Not only the golf course but the mountains that surround it. Can’t wait to visit again.
