In summary

Onion Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained golf course, featuring a fun and challenging layout, as well as hospitable staff and enjoyable dining options. However, some members express dissatisfaction with the management, citing issues such as unmet promises, rising costs, and inadequate facilities, particularly in the tennis and driving range areas. While many appreciate the club's setting and amenities, others feel the value does not match the membership fees.

We had an incredible time for my wedding here! Camryn did an exceptional job! I couldn't have done it without her! The food & staff were all amazing & eager to help, it was the best night of my life & I would definitely book here again! I highly recommend this venue, thanks to Camryn for all the work she did

Got to play this beautiful course! My buddy is a member, what an amazing experience. The course was fantastic! Fun layout and challenging at times. Greens ran so well and the whole course was in fantastic shape. Had lunch there and it was not bad at all. If you have a chance to play it and you know the right people, you should play this course! We played the North course.

Great venue for a small event or celebration. The bar at the club makes an amazing whiskey version of an espresso martini that you have to try! The staff here are incredibly hospitable and make everyone feel like members even if just visiting.

Amazing course that's always kept up better than a lot of courses in Austin. Aside from the stellar 27 holes of golf, they have awesome food, great drink selection with a good local draft beer options. Staff is always on point on service and are always attentive on your needs or requests.

Do not join here as a tennis member. Recently, the new ownership group Arcis and the head "tennis pro" Kelly Marshall decided to ruin the tennis courts by painting a million lines everywhere. The tennis courts are an absolute mess. Even though members voiced their opposition to pickle ball taking over the tennis courts, our voices were ignored. Onion Creek went ahead with trying to accommodate "all racquet sports" by littering the courts with pickle ball equipment and the final straw - adding permanent pickle ball lines to the tennis courts. Tennis players are not respected here. I'm playing a…

Kyle came out for my semi annual service check and I couldn’t be more pleased with this company. He was friendly, competent, very experienced, I might add and helpful. So far my confidence in McCullough is a 10.

I've been a member for 2+ years and just cancelled my membership. The sales person promised a long list of upgrade and amenities and none of those have come to action. OCC hasn't had a stable staff in the time I've been there, staff is rude, the kitchen is lacking in all aspects. The club has great history but the facilities are falling apart. The club needs so much work and nothing has been accomplished. Our dues go up $1200 per year (currently $550/month) and the only improvement I've seen was a patio deck and new carpet in Legend's Grille. I really wanted to stick around and be part of a gr…

DO NOT JOIN. the driving range is just dirt. The golf balls are 20 years old. They charge almost 700 bucks a month in dues and can’t even give us new range balls lmao. 15k initiation, they will ALWAYS send you wrong statements charging you an insane amount of money. NOBODY answers their phone when you call. It’s impossible to reach someone if you have a problem. People in the pro shop are the only good people here. Sales manager is a snake, will get you in and then dismiss you. Tell you lies on how you can “ pause your membership” whenever you would like. Then they say you can only do it once…

Once well-kept secret is now out ... crowds and prices are rising ... but natural beauty and old south charm largely remain.
