In summary

Pasadena Municipal Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course's layout, featuring turtleback greens and scenic surroundings, is appreciated, although some find the signage and navigation between holes confusing. While the lack of beverage carts and occasional customer service issues are noted, the overall experience is considered enjoyable and affordable.

This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. The course conditions were very good. The greens were green with little distress. There is a nice driving range and practice green. The course was challenging with a good layout. There is pretty good way-finding signage to direct you around the course. Not sure who laid this out but the path from one hole to the next was long and unusual. The pro shop staff was friendly. There are no beverage carts so assure that you bring your food and drink with you. There are plenary of water stations, and ball washers throughout.

My husband is obsessed with golf — and sometimes he even lets me tag along! Thankfully, this course makes those “quality time” golf days totally worth it. The greens are beautifully kept, the vibe is peaceful, and it’s honestly the perfect place to pretend I know what all those clubs do. He’s out here chasing birdies, while I’m admiring how pretty everything looks. And you know what? We both leave happy — him with his scorecard, me with my sanity. In a emergency at least he can find water here!! Fantastic course, great scenery, and the perfect backdrop for me to cheer, laugh, and occasionall…

The greens were in great shape as well as the fairways. Excellent 18 hole for the price.

Very well maintained course. Greens are in great shape and pretty challenging. Fairways were in good condition. Will.play again. It's worth the short drive from Cypress to avoid crowded courses in town. Staff was friendly and had some good tips. Greens are turtle shell shaped, so they need to be pretty accurate.

Only rating 2 starts because i have played the course before and enjoyed it. Would rate it less than 1 star if rating only customer service. Called to make a tee time and was informed only early times left were 720 and 1250. When i asked Mike in the pro shop if he thought we could finish before dark, he rudely responded "you should be able to finish in 4 hours". As we all know, this depends on how many tee times they pack in on a day and if those in front of you are playing ready golf as they should. A polite answer as to how full the course was would have sufficed. When i told him i would cal…

This is my favorite golf course in the Pasadena / deer park / southeast Houston area. Greens are always well tended (although most greens are hills, pins are placed generally around edges of hill) so pin placement can at times make putting very hard! Ron, one of the Marshalls here, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He let me and my buddies try out his grip trainer, & even walked us through doing a “bump n run” out of the rough! I am a beginner golfer, and his advice and tips have helped boost my confidence and skill exponentially. If you want to go to a course that is priced cheap, bu…

Very friendly and courteous staff! Me and buddy of mine have been playing here once a week for a year (2025). The fairways are average, greens are challenging simply because most of them are "turtlebacks". Highly recommend playing at least once.

I enjoyed the wings over Houston Air show while playing golf. It was great The course is in great shape and our group had a good time. Here's a little film that I took on the b-29 Superfortress. There's only two in flying condition in the world. Enjoy!!

The fairways and greens are maintained and really nice! The layout is cool and the price is hard to beat. Been to a lot of the courses in the area as far back as Sugarland and this one beats most. The pictures posted can’t be compared to in person.

Spectacular golf course for mid to high golf level greens are very challenging lot of slope , narrow but on perfect shape fairways , Only thing was tee boxes need a lil bit or more care and need more advices about route to find the holes specially after hole 13 need better signs to Find the 14 hole If you don’t like noises dont go airport is on the other side those jet make a lot of noise ( and that something to blame your bad shots lol) Overall for me was a 7/10
