Pecan Trails Golf Course

I won't be playing here until construction/renovation is done. It was very frustrating to play. I wouldn't say the course is horrible, but paying $35 to play on this course probably fueled my frustration. I won't give them too hard of a time though; I know they have to charge that to get the course looking good and once it's a little better, I'll definitely be back because I think it will turn out great. The new staff is really nice, and the club house is looking good.

I am a beginning golfer and have only played a few times. This course was great for me as most of the holes are straight and have decent fairways. The course itself was in great condition and it was obvious they take great care of it. The people that work there are extremely nice and the $25 greens fee is fair and includes cart rental. In fact, they actually have 21 holes not 18. So you get a little extra for your money. All in all, I would definitely recommend this course, especially if you are a new or part timer.

Lots of room. Not too challenging. Laid back course in surprisingly good shape for such an affordable cost. I thought the fairways were in great shape (we'd had record rainfall). The greens were a little rough and slow but not too bad overall. This is a great course for a high handicap player looking to get some reps in or get away from some of the pretense and pageantry of other courses while you get comfortable with the game and improve. I have to admit when I pulled up and walked into the clubhouse I said whoa, this is going to be a rough course of pasture golf but I was completely shocked when I saw how nice the greens were consistently. Some fairways had their moments but for the money, nice place to play. Especially if you have young ones trying to learn. Very laid back. We'll be back but bring your snacks and drinks in a cooler. Byob also. They have an ice machine to use too!

The course is under construction, with a hole you can't play at all, holes completely torn up, and ugly scenery everywhere. I'm glad they're renovating and the greens are much nicer than they used to be. But to be charging this much while the course is in shambles is ridiculous. Spend your money elsewhere, at least until the construction is done

As previous people have said. course is under new ownership and it is improving. last owners let the place fall apart. greens are in fantastic shape. they roll true and are soft enough to leave a divot. no complaints there. a few tee boxes and almost all fairways need some tlc but you can see how hard the new owners are working on that. id say in a few months this will be on of the best courses in DFW. i will definitely be back. also it is very easy to walk with lots of shade trees to hang out under if slow play is in front of you. played 6/30/18 in the am and was coming off the course by 1115…

Awesome 21 hole golf course with quite a legacy. -edit- Now with new owners, they're making it 18 holes. There is much construction and landscaping going on...on a scale that's unreal actually. Don't know how this affects play during transition, but from what I can tell the new owners are pouring a freekin fortune into this place. It stands to be world class fare judging by the shear amount of investment and effort going on. I mean it's like God taking his finger and redrawing the lay of the land, lol. Should be very interesting to see its final form.

Can't beat $25 for 21 holes and a cart! Medium difficulty. Greens are so so but the course is kept up very well. Great for the novice golfer👍

Very nice layout and variety of long and short holes. They currently have 21 holes as they are renovating the course. Can't wait until they offer yearly memberships.

Great golf course still under construction. Its fast/ small. Need an irrigation system but will keep on playing choose your club wisely

Been playing here for years. The new owners have made tremendous progress in the short amount of time they have been new owners. Really looking forward to the new year and playing a continued much improved course.

Really just an average golf course. The greens are not in good shape and the grass type from one green to the next is different. The fairways were mowed but several greens were much to tall.
