In summary

Quail Ridge Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly, attentive staff. Visitors appreciate the scenic setting and amenities such as GPS-equipped carts and readily available water on the course. However, some guests have experienced issues with slow pace of play and discrepancies in tee box yardage, which have been noted as areas for improvement.

I've been playing Quail Ridge for 20 years and it's in the best shape it has ever been in. The layout is tough but fair and the greens will challenge even the best players. The staff it's super friendly and they now have GPS on the carts. The only downside since the redo is that it is more popular than ever and it's tougher to get a last minute tee time.

Really fun course! I enjoyed playing here and found it a fun layout that wasn't too stressful. We played in the middle of our golf trip as it was a bit cheaper and easier than some of the Southern Pines/Pinehurst courses. The only negatives I had for the course was the range tees were forward so no drivers to warm-up and the pro-shop was a bit underwhelming. Otherwise fun course, lots of water available in coolers on the course and the transfusions were well made!

Couldn’t get a cart until a minute before my tee time because they let multiple people in one group have a cart to themselves. Allowed groups of 6 to play at the same time. Course was backed up all day. For the $80 rate. you could play Sanford Municipal twice and have a better experience. Don’t waste your money here.

I’ve been a platinum member here for almost a year and it has been the best golfing experience I could have asked for. I’ve met some amazing people who have helped me enjoy the game more and more! The guys who run the course and the ladies who run the tavern do an outstanding job making every golfer feel at home while playing a round at Quail Ridge!

Very disappointed in how the tee box yardage on the card doesn’t match up with what is really where the tee box is. Hard to keep a correct handicap on an untruthful course. Also no ranger to keep groups moving. Literally had to wait every shot due to overbooking. Not a preferable course due to mismanagement.

A hidden gem! The clubhouse is quite spartan but the course is in great shape, scenic and challenging. A steal for $50. I was greeted by the friendly pro shop and was made to feel welcome as soon as I stepped foot into the facility. There is no beverage cart on the course but there were coolers on each nine stocked with chilled drinking water. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I am in the area again.

Played QRGC last week for the first time and man it was a treat!! It was truly a delightful walk on some of the best fairways I have ever walked. The greens rolled true and were quickkk! Customer service was top notch and the food in the grill was plenty sufficient. I thought the price to be a little high but still not bad. The golf group I play with has an event there in May and I am really looking forward to it now.

2/12 was supposed to be a washout. We showed up anyway, and boy are we glad we did. Course is in fantastic shape to be February. Shop pro was top notch. One of the best Ellis Maples designs I have stepped foot on.

Course is a little wet in areas but very playable. I'll definitely be back. Not crowded on a gorgeous February day.
