Superb golf course all around. Played several courses who were rated higher around the area, about 35 miles radius. But river ridge is by far better. Forces you to pretty much hit every club in the bag. Well maintained and great practice facilities. I will be coming back.

Played here as a visitor from the UK. Felt extremely welcome, the staff are really nice, helpful and accommodating to non members. There’s a great practice range before you get out on the course. The course was in great condition and could not recommend this place enough. Thanks for having me RR!

One of the best public tracks in the Raleigh area. Great conditions especially with the lack of rain. Very friendly staff and a fun and challenging layout.

This was a gorgeous and peaceful spot for a wedding away from the main downtown Raleigh hustle and bustle. We've only had the opportunity to photograph one wedding here, and it was a great experience. Miranda, the event coordinator, was sweet, helpful, and managed everything with grace in spite of the heat. And that heat was INTENSE—the wedding we photographed was on one of the hottest days of 2019, so guests spent more time indoors than they might otherwise. Having the wedding entirely outdoors on such a hot day was challenging (so couples getting married in more temperate months might fare b…

River Ridge is a great golf course! Course is always in pristine condition, fair rates, and great practice areas. Thank you to Joseph for helping me book multiple tee times for the yearly scramble I host with my friends.

Such a fun track. Played here before heading down to Pinehurst after hearing a bunch about it on the Chasing Scratch podcast. So happy I tried it out Fun design, great conditions and staff were super friendly.

The River Ridge Golf Club is an exceptionally beautiful wedding venue here in the Raleigh area. The staff are friendly and attentive and the event coordinator, Miranda Day is super helpful! As a wedding photographer I have to say that I highly recommend any couples out there who are looking for a venue that offers great views (important element in your future wedding photos) and exceptional service. This place is awesome! PS. The sunset's here are absolutely breathtaking.

Great location for a wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful with finding locations for wedding pictures. The indoor ballroom is only large enough for 50-100 guests, however there is a large outdoor pavilion that can be used for larger weddings. There are some great spots on the golf course for sunset pictures with the bride and groom.

2 complaints 1 is price: your not a private club. There is no reason anyone should be paying $90 a round on a Friday. 2 if your going to charge $90 a round, you need to have rangers in the course The pave of play needs to be better. With no one managing that, your looking at 4-1/2 to 5 hour rounds of golf.. Course conditions is always nice but please get Rangers in the course

So this place is in a great location. Perfect location for a wedding. They also have friendly staff members. I was here for a wedding and reception. The wedding part was great. The reception part not so good. The food was bland and small portions. 3 people bought out the food only 1 person was serving drinks for 75 people. So my sister and I started helping with drinks for the guest.

The day was cold but Joseph and the inside staff were very warm and friendly :) The golf course was in great shape and the shots you face are very challenging with a lot of slopes and undulation. The pro shop is well stocked and they have a great practice facility. I will definitely stop by again when in the Raleigh, NC area.

Great experience! I came down to visit family in North Carolina. Decided to get a round of golf in and I’m very glad I ended up playing here. Course is in excellent shape, grass range. Round came with free small bucket to warm up
