In summary

Rush Lake Hills Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with significant elevation changes, and friendly staff. The course offers good value for the price and is appreciated for its scenic, open setting, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers. However, some visitors have experienced issues with course management, particularly regarding pace of play and interactions with staff, and note that the hilly terrain can lead to challenging lies and blind shots.

Played 36 holes here for the first time last week and had a great time. "Hills" definitely describes this course. There's lots of elevation changes and challenges. This course is in good condition overall. Well maintained and groomed. The fairways were nice and the rough was trimmed but thick in places. The tee boxes were in good condition and for the most part flat. Some tee boxes may have been a little domed but not many. Pace of play was good for the amount of people on the course. Spoke with some of the grounds people and all were very friendly. The clubhouse was not at all what I expected…

I love this golf course. I drive 45 minutes to play here and never regret it. Feels like you're up north. Greens are challenging but fun. Same can be said for the hole course but plenty of chances to score if you are accurate off the tee.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Great staff! Decent conditions throughout. A few burnt greens but not too bad. Fairways were trimmed well and greens ran consistent. The only small issue was the release of people during twilight that apparently go to any hole they feel is open.

Extremely Disappointing Experience! Poor management and inconsistent standards. This was hands down the worst golf course experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, we were essentially shadowed by the course ranger (picture attached), who approached us four separate times accusing us of slow play, despite us doing everything we could to keep pace. We immediately allowed a single player behind us to play through. When asked, we also let a scramble group behind us pass… even though scramble formats typically understand there will be occasional waiting. Yes, we had 5 players (we paid for all…

Great course! Lots of fun holes and big hills. The pace was a little slower than anticipated, but as I said, there were quite a few hills that hid other golfers. Just be careful! The hot dogs were great too

Good price, Greens are small but in very good shape. No complaints. Front plays easier than the back for sure.

Personally, I hit the ball hard enough where I need to see over the hills and see what's coming up. Just playing over hilltops, it's to hard to score and this place is hills, And more hills. And I don't believe there's a flat lie on the whole golf course. It is in really nice shape! That's what the 4 stars are for..

Receptionist clearly didn't want our business. Gave attitude over the phone, can't play 18 after 4oclock. Insulted and irritated as I came in because I didn't want to give my email over a tee time to spam my email. Then when I came in also made a comment at the front desk I was too "scared" to give my email. What pathetic service.
