Oak Pointe Country Club

Julien was extremely kind to us when we had an incident out on the ice this weekend. Helped us in every way he could and made sure everyone was safe!

Had our daughter’s wedding here 5/17/25. Julianna and the entire event staff were top notch! So helpful and accommodating with every little request we had. The bride and father of the bride (and many guests) are gluten free. They made sure the entire meal was safe for them to eat. Truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Will recommend to anyone who has an event coming up. The space is beautiful and the view is spectacular.

Oak Pointe is a semi-private country club suitable for all ages and abilities. The clubhouse has amenities one would expect from a private club, locker rooms, sauna, tennis courts, pool, and multiple bars and dining areas. The club's main draw are 2 amazing 18 hole par 71 courses designed by Arthur Hills and Jerry Mathews. One of Michigan's top clubs!!

Great staff and beautiful place for your next event or gathering. They make great food and will accommodate your preferences and take your attention to detail seriously. They aim to please and it is obvious from the moment you walk in.

Great golf course. The restaurant, however, has terrible food and terrible service for the price that it charges. There is almost no year during which our graduation event doesn't have a technical issue with the MIC or air conditioning despite repeated reminder to make sure they are working before events. Dinner service is so slow and food is mediocre at best. Otherwise, the location is pretty.

Jenna, Aspen, Alec and the other male bartender at the Athletes Unlimited Annual Golf Outing provided top tier service along with the rest of the staff! Looking forward to returning!

Beautiful course in pristine condition. Can't wait to play the other 18. Guy in the pro shop was super nice and friendly.

Food was delicious and service was great. Jacob was our waiter, very nice and courteous. Couldn't get a great game of golf in because of the storm the night b4 put it under water. But the course has always been in great shape when i have golfer there.

Just lowering this review by a star after thinking about how ungodly bad the steak au poivre was here. The food is horrendous there now. The au poivre was atrocious. It had no resemblance to au poivre. It was completely encrusted in black peppercorns to the point that it was inedible. I couldn’t even see the steak it was so covered. This usually made with soft green peppercorns. Worse yet when I finally removed the hundreds of peppercorns, the steak had no sear and yet somehow was overcooked.

Great country club course and environment. Pricey but the course, range, clubhouse, etc is fantastic.
