In summary

Huntmore Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with many enjoying the scenic setting and amenities like the practice facilities and outdoor grill. The course offers a variety of tees to accommodate different skill levels, and features such as GPS-equipped carts add to the convenience. However, some visitors have experienced issues with pace of play and management of tee times, noting that the course can become congested and that ranger presence could be improved to manage slower groups.

Pace of Play: Ok Course Conditions: 4/5 Views: 3.5/5 Played as a 4some 8:30am tee time, waited on every shot holes 1, 2 & 3 because the course was backed up getting our screen to 18 minutes behind pace. Played the next 15 holes and finished 7 minutes behind pace. Rangers constantly nagging at us to pick up pace even though we had to wait for 18 green to clear in order to hit. They need to target the groups that are causing the back up, not ruining the round for those playing proper golf and pace. Many other similar conditions courses in the area to play over this one. It’s a never play again…

Tried some first time golf classes here with a friend. Sip and Swing taught by Julia for $45 per person. We had a good time while she taught us the basics of a golf swing. She had clubs available if we didn't have any. Afterwards, we had a voucher for a free drink. We tried the " Bloody Mary". They made it well. They also had a nice store with golf apparel there. Will come back again.

This course is a hot mess and has been since they opened this year with standing water everywhere and cart path only play. I'm severely not impressed. The greens haven't healed from last year's aeration and bounce horribly. Since the course is flooded, grass cutting is spotty. A true waste of good money.

Second time we played. Golf course is nice but plan on a 5 hour round or more. No rangers and players don’t care about Pace of play.So after 11 or 12 holes of this play you lose your game and interest

I had been wanting a course that feels both challenging and welcoming, so when I played 18 holes at Huntmore Golf Club this Summer, it genuinely surpassed my expectations. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by two friendly faces and engaged in a fun conversation to welcome me and my group to the course! I also couldn't miss how well-maintained everything was: the rolling hills looked lush, hardwoods framed the fairways, and wetlands contributed to the view rather than feeling like rough patches. It felt like nature was taking care of you. They have five sets of tees, so I could pick one that…

Great golf course, in great shape. Pace was very fast for a Saturday afternoon. Played 18 in 3-1/2 hours.

Update your Google cite. It said it was open, so we drove all the way out here just to found out it's actually closed! What a waste of time on great day like this. March 9th, sunday.

Played there Saturday 5/10 8am... people are super friendly and their grill is top 3 imo, I wish they had jalapeños for the burgers tho. One thing that happened is we were told multiple times about the 4hr rounds or less at Huntmore and how they pride on that, we played 18 in over 5hrs... not one time we saw a ranger out on the course enforcing the 4hr pace of play... multiple times we had 4 groups in 1 same hole... love the course and its layout, I just fell they need a ranger that can help move slower groups, not an easy course so that can be tough on beginner golfers.

One of my favorite courses in the area. It has an excellent practice facility. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful from the people staffing the pro shop to the chef who makes those delicious burgers. Course is well maintained and it requires some real golf shots. Will definitely be back.

Nice course in great condition. Only issue was the starter. No customer service skills at all. Chased us down in first fairway accusing us of taking too long to tee off and waiting for the group in front of us to clear the green (it’s a par 5!). Checked my watch and we had teed off on schedule. Said he had a full tee sheet and wasn’t messing around. Turns out they had at least 3 twosomes behind us and didn’t combine them. Way too aggressive and unfriendly for such a nice course.

Great golf course. Very challenging. Have to admit that I lost a few golf balls here. The layout is great with lots of hazards. The guy outside making food would be worth the trip alone. Lol But no, seriously. He's awesome.

We played today, Nov. 9, 2020 and the course was in fantastic shape......the greens were in great shape and FAST. Course layout is quite nice and pleasing to the eye.. With 5 tees you can play the distance that is good for you. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely play this course again next summer.
