What People Say

In summary

Faulkwood Shores Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice in the Brighton/Howell area. Visitors enjoy the course's challenges and find it to be a good value, especially with affordable rates. However, common criticisms include the need for improvements to the tee boxes, cart paths, and occasional issues with pace of play due to large groups. The course is undergoing improvements, including a new clubhouse, which is expected to enhance the overall experience.

Turkey Ruben, chicken wings, and burrata and beet salad are all hits. Nice outdoor patio with tvs and good service. Inspirational

This was my first time playing what is now the front nine, previously the back nine. I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the course and the condition of the greens, which was excellent. The cart path is quite old and so bumpy that my clubs were rattling right off the cart so those could be improved. Also, no drinking water on the course and I think there should be. The price was friendly and I will return.

Tee boxes are the worst I played on in years. Greens are pretty good with exceptions of 3 on the back 9 that are unputtable. They need to be fixed! The cart parts have not seen any work in years so you are better off driving in the grass. Speaking of grass, some fairways were mowed and some were not??? I have never seen differences like that on any course. Overall it is just as I remembered it, interesting layout, course needs attention desperately. And they are putting in a new clubhouse, doesn't look huge but it will be better than what they had.

Good fun course Good greens and fairways. Sand was taken care of. Great value for $30 hot deal from golf now.

Nice course with its own variety of challenges. Parking can be tricky at times and it does get busy on the weekends, plan ahead and reserve a Tee Time.

They recently had a fire and the clubhouse was closed so they are now providing services from under a tent. Price was $45 on a weekend morning which I thought that was very fair and reasonable for what you are getting. The course is nice but could use some work on the tee boxes. otherwise a very playable and fun mix of holes. Three greens on the front have severe slopes where leaving your approach below the hole is paramount. Although the greens were not fast they were in good shape and playable. I would recommend this course if looking something around the Brighton/Howell area. I think the ba…

Decent track, would be a better rating but played middle of the day on a Sunday and there was a 9some (not a typo) and a 6some. Called the clubhouse and nothing happened. When all courses in Howell are the same price mind as well go somewhere else to not deal w that.

The back 9 is nicer than the front 9. The staff is always nice and pricing is fair. There are busted up cart paths and some of the tee boxes are in rough shape. I believe the staff told us this course is owned by company so perhaps this is why(?).

Pretty decent, somewhat challenging, back 9 better then the front, they have been improving portions of the coarse, on the from, between 3&9 sit the septic lagoon from the campground, can be overpowering, over all , nice course

$78 for 18 holes. My buddy and I were golfing early morning and the sprinklers were on, then they turn off after the first hole but the coarse was still soaked. My partner and I were separated and he had the cart, so he drove over crossing the fairway and when he went into the rough and when he brakes, the cart slid. The super intendant saw and came over, cussed us out and took the keys to the cart. (Keep in mind we were on hole 5) We walked the rest of the first 9 holes and when we went back to the club house, we were only given a rain check. Other complaints, the T boxes are tore up really b…

The rate was very fair. The greens are in good shape. The tee boxes were a bit long, so needed a mowing. The beverage cart service came around pretty frequently. The service staff was friendly and professional.

Great course. Played twilight for 15 bucks. Cant beat it. The only complaint I have is one of the holes, where you drive through the woods to get to the next tee box, i literally teed off on a cloud of mosquitoes. Ran for my life lol. Other than that, a great course. Will visit again.
