In summary

Siler City Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, attractive layout, and the challenge it offers golfers of all skill levels. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the reasonable pricing, along with the scenic setting featuring mature trees and well-kept fairways. However, some guests have encountered issues with slow greens, inconsistent policies regarding the driving range, and occasional unwelcoming interactions with staff, particularly for non-members.

5 stars! Only 30 min from Greensboro this is a must play. New greens looked and rolled great but were on the slow side. Beautiful course, very well maintained. Really nice houses will catch your eye as well.

Really enjoyed the course, pretty good shape and well kept, although the greens were very challenging, always leave an uphill putt ! the back 9 was really beautiful and will be back again..

Nice course, great layout and fun holes. They have the best sand traps I've seen all year. There's actually sand in the traps! Greens roll smoothly and will hold shots and check up on short wedge shots. Some holes it's better to use an iron than the driver. Like most courses they have some areas to work on but worth making the drive to play. It's an over all nice course and this course will be on my golf leagues schedule next year.

Winter golf but the course is well layed out. We enjoyed playing it and will do so again.

I shot the worst round of the year, but it was not fault of the course. I wish I could have played better to match up. Onto the review. Tee Boxes 4/5 - Some wear on the par 3s, but to be expected. Fairways 5/5 - These will run even if you don't want them to. I was in half of them despite my poor shooting and never had a problem with the lie. They should refill the sand on the carts better though. Greens 5/5 - Glass. These run at at least an 11, but most likely a 12. They are firm and fast, which means playing short if you can't get your ball to come in high. Bunkers 5/5 - Even the fairway…

Played there today greens had been aerated, no one told me when making tee time, greens were so bad, then they charge 41$ for everyone. Said Monday and Tuesday 36$ which is fair price if course is in above average condition. I've been playing there off and on over 20 year always liked the lay out and the way it was manicure. Course was hurting. Played again 9/3/24 Greens were in very good condition course was in good shape considering they had over 3" of rain a few day ago..

Played 7/25/2025..,greens are tough right now due to the heavy aeration and sanding. However, course is in good shape overall. Looking forward to the greens coming into form.

I played Siler city golf course for the first time and enjoyed it very much. I especially like the hardwood trees surrounding the course. The Pro-shop was very helpful and I will return with a bigger group next time.

Played today for the first time. The course is an hour from home but I had a voucher for a good discount so decided to make the trip. So glad I did. This is a wonderful older course, maintained well and challenging, even from the forward tees (where we seniors play from). The pro was very friendly and helpful with info about the course. Their regular rates are very reasonable, as well, so ill probably go back.
